WEEK 5 DAY 3: MISSION
Mission: Help the actor get rid of his baggage!
Time Limit: Medium
Noise Plane: Solo
Wall Instructions: Key walls around the Broadway's Theatre district.
Wall Rewards: D.I.Y.
Reaped Rewards: Ohabari
Mission Rewards: $500
[After yesterday, today's mission seems refreshingly straightforward. There's a large amount of Noise starting to gather around one of the more illustrious theatres in Broadway... but what is the baggage that the mission talks about?
In addition, should Players scan elsewhere, they'll find a fair amount of thought about the ecosystem - a large number of RGers are thinking about a recycling plant that opened in the East Village, and others still are thinking of protesting another trash barge docked in the Hudson that's scheduled to sail out today.]

... First things first is to find the actor, anyways, and see if scanning him might provide some clues. Following where the largest groups of noise are gathering seems to be a good idea.]

...There's quite a bit of activity today, isn't there?

Xion will get her pin ready, expecting a fight. Of course, she doesn't mind if there's conversation before or after the fact.]

I'm not sure if it's due to remnants of last week, but I'm feeling rather uncertain about this week. Ironic, that we go from the end of the world to another location wanting to save it. There certainly isn't as much negativity in the air, at the very least.
no subject
While it is a relief there isn't as much negativity, this is still really off. Things keep getting worse and worse between these world hops, and Xion has no idea why.]

No, wait, let's try that again. Fluttershy is near a wall, nervously shaking. It looks like she really isn't taking this amount of people the best. This may impede Players' progress.]
no subject
...no, he can't really resist this opportunity to troll, even if she's not a Player.]
What's the matter? Haven't you ever seen a city before? So alive, so full of people...
no subject
Um...I've never seen so many humans before. It's hard to adjust, um, if you don't mind me saying so.
no subject
Tch. It's not even like most of them can see you.
[He grins.]
If they could see you, they'd probably fly into a panic.
[He just might want to see what happens if Fluttershy were to go into the RG...humans tend to get amusingly worked up over things like winged horses. He knew that even he had to stop and do a double-take...]
no subject
Oh my... Why would they panic when they see us...?

His current pins aren't as reliable, so he's alternating between using them and transforming into Thanatos. Shockingly, in his Shadow form, he seems to still have that anger and rage fueling his actions, perhaps even more so, like his human emotions have been funneled into providing power for his attacks.
If anyone wishes to talk to him, they should probably wait until he's gone back to normal.]
no subject
He will also quietly follow after as best he can--Thanatos is doing a great job of clearing a path Stein is willing to use to sneak into the theatre.]
no subject
Granted, even fighting alongside him when he's like this put the Solar Boy at risk; being this close to something this large in battle was a hazard, but he wasn't about to leave Ryoji's side; he didn't when he was at his worst and he won't now.)
no subject
To this effect, he's summoned Evildiver to herd Players for him. If you're a Player, you just might find yourself harassed by a monster that definitely isn't Noise. It appears to be driving the Players in a direction away from the theatre and into some dark, dingy-looking alley, where Asakura will be waiting...somewhere. It will also dart into and out of any reflective surface in the area, making it ever so much fun to play with.]
no subject
[Rather, she has Sexy D'd a motorcycle to fling at the creature in a fit of impatience.]
no subject
Evildiver is forced to dodge that bike and halt pursuit for a moment, but it still seems as though it wants to continue following Zecora.]

He's trying to plan his next move, and he's trying to figure out the best way to get into that theatre as quietly as he possibly can. Attracting large amounts of Noise isn't on his to-do list today.]
no subject
Asakura harrying literally everythingthe keywall, the source of the Noise is easy to find - they're all swarming around one man dressed like a dancer. It looks like the baggage is literal, too, judging by the large, padlocked suitcase at his side. Naturally, he seems a bit distressed.]
Man... I can't just get rid of this thing. I've tried throwing it in the trash, but it keeps showing up the next time I turn around...
What if I actually pissed off someone in the Mafia somehow?! I've heard the mayor has ties with them... oh, no... maybe he didn't like the show and this is some sort of warning...
no subject
DOUBT IT'S MAFIA...
Me too. It's our mission after all. But I think I've got the best idea!
OK. GO AHED [He nods.]
[The girl enthusiastically imprints "Trash it!" onto the RGer.]
Now go! Don't let them control your life!
no subject
Hey, wait! If I toss it on the barge, it won't come back! Heck, I bet they even have trash compactors on there. I'll make sure this thing won't come back ever again...
[Bolstered by the idea, the RGer stands and hurries off, carrying the luggage in tow, headed for the Hudson. Whatever the baggage is, it's not gonna last the rest of the mission.]
