[Fluttershy is taking the reigns this time. She has absolutely no idea what she should be doing, so she'll just be going around in the UG, hoping to find out.]

[This is no time to be nervous, 'Shy. I'm sure Kreutz will understand.

Fluttershy takes a deep breath.]

I'm not sure. They haven't sent any type of information and at this point, I'm inclined to believe there won't be one.

Which...doesn't leave much for us in the meantime. I suppose we're to make of it what we can?

Do you think, um, that they forgot...? Not that I'm saying they did.

['Shy tilts her head a little.]

Um... Do we do what we normally do then...?

It's possible, but it's just as likely they intentionally didn't give out a mission. The higher-ups are too smart.

I don't see why not. It won't be any worse than wandering and wondering what to do.

[A pause. What if she does something wrong?

Hey, if we stall for time, we may get the mission details.

Alright enough, I suppose. I spoke with a few people yesterday, as per the mission requirements.

I assume it was an interesting experience for you, too?

[Fluttershy frowns a little.]

Oh, Zecora talked to us for a bit and cheered us up. I really couldn't do anything, um, because Fluttercruel kept insisting I wasn't a player... I really wished I could've at least tried to help her...

Plus I wanted a sword, but we didn't have enough money to buy one and we couldn't find Santa...

...All I've been told about the dog is to have faith it will survive. It's something I'm not sure I'm capable of anymore and it's easier said than done, but that's all I can do.

As for the sword, I would simply make you one if I had the materials and a proper forge, but the constant shift in location makes that very difficult.

Come on now, faith is a fun thing. After all, if I never had a buck of it, I wouldn't have fought myself back from death the first time.

By fun, I assume you mean it to be a source of motivation. Perhaps a gamble, as well?

The same can be said about any weapon, really. How would you wield it, anyway?

Well... things were really bucked up back then. So I guess you could've called it a gamble. Didn't stop me from trying, though. And looks what happened: The both of us are together again. Me and 'Shy, I mean.

I wasn't exactly going to use it. I just wanted something to hold while sleeping.

[You know, something like a doll or blanket.]

(Kreutzer takes a moment to think about that.) To believe in an outcome that's unlikely to happen...is that faith is?

[Fluttercruel smirks again.]

I fought my way out of death and helped make everything better. Right now, I'm fighting my way out of death again. Ain't no one going to keep us from life forever.

Sides, I was born to be nothing but cruel. Then 'Shy became my mother. Now look at me.

[She puffs her chest out proudly. She went from cruel for the sake of cruelty to cruel to be kind.

Cruelly thinks about this.]

...I don't want any dolls that are dragon fewmets. They gotta be something I like.

(...Okay fine, Cruelly; you got a light smile out of Kreutzer. It may not have been a direct answer, but it was an answer. One Kreutzer actually seemed to like. It's not just believing in any outcome that's unlikely to happen; it's believing in an outcome she wants to happen. Like the dog finding a home to live in, perhaps...

...at the second remark, Kreutzer smirks.)

Well lucky for you, I have quite a selection of dolls. I'm sure we can find one that's just right for you.

[Fluttercruel may be under a year old, but she still has good advice from time to time. As does 'Shy. And... basically everyone else from the fanfic she's from.]

Very well then. Let's go through the roster in waves.

(And with a wave of her arm, Kreutzer summons four different doll types, all floating in midair.)

Leaf is the youngest and most childish, but she has a lot of spirit. Simple, but sometimes I find simplicity to be better. Clover is polite, intelligent and very reliable. Rooty is rather spunky and easily excitable, but brave and always ready to face danger. Assam is an excellent hunter with keen eyesight. Also a very good listener.

I was thinking that, too.

[The Flutters remain silent as they converse with each other mentally over the pros and cons of the dolls. They also know there are more to come.]

(And the second wave comes in with another wave of her arm.)

Earl isn't much for emotion, but excels in reasoning and guidance. Dimbula has wisdom beyond her age and enjoys telling stories and offering support. Sikkim is a bold fighter who's always honest with herself and others. Peco is a talented swordsman and food connoisseur; her grace with a blade is rivaled by her skills in a kitchen.

[There might be a third wave, or a fourth, but 'Shy's leaning towards Clover and 'Cruel's leaning toward Peco or Rooty.]

Platina has always been a mysterious one, but makes for a powerful ally. Lovers considers herself a defender of the innocent and always strives to do right. She still makes time for being playful. Fortuner is a loyal soldier who can remain level-headed even during the worst of times. And last but not least, Fool is a trained maid who lives to serve; she's slightly accident prone, but takes responsibility for her actions.
