Wall Instructions: Key walls around East Harlem; condition must be a Pact or one Shadow Matter. Additionally, please seal off Lower Manhattan once more after everyone has made it back.
Wall Rewards: Konohana Sakuya
Reaped Rewards: Cosmic Pull
Mission Rewards: Tin Pin Artist



[Today is an incredibly simple mission, apparently just meant to reconvene everyone else now that the errant RGers have been observed. Of course, such things could be easily taken advantage of for an ambush.

Falling behind would be just as bad, however. Unlucky stragglers, Player and Reaper alike, may find themselves pursued by strange, aggressive Noise never seen before...]

(Although Kreutzer was far too antsy to stay in one place for too long, it had been quite a while since she last manned a wall. Since week 3, in fact! It didn't help her want to man a wall any more than she did, but maybe it'd do some good. Besides, a pact or a pin was a pretty easy requirement...well, as easy as finding a partner in the middle of the week could be.

All the same, Kreutz puts up a key wall in East Harlem and floats in waiting with her cloak wrapped around her.)

[Fluttershy is walking around in the distance looking around. Perhaps she's looking around for where to put up a wall?]

(Of course, this doesn't slip past Kreutzer's attention. Seeing no Players in the immediate area, the girl approaches the pony.)

Are you looking for something, Fluttershy?

[Oh, it's Kreutzer.]

Oh. Um, I'm looking for a... good place to put up a wall.

[The last time she did it, she put it in a place where there were lots of strange humans walking around all over the place and she really should've let Fluttercruel take control.]

I could help you with that, if you'd like. I actually saw a rather doable spot over there...

(She points in the aforementioned direction.)

Oh, thank you!

[She's about to flutter over there, but she hasn't really talked to Kreutz that much this week. This needs to change.]

Um, if you don't mind me asking, but how are you doing?

...Well enough, I suppose. I'm still left with anxiety due to last week's events, but I'm still moving forward.

How about you two? Better off, I hope.

[The Flutters nod.]

We've been doing well enough... And I think Asakura's pet will be less likely to be a hassle. We've talked it over with him, but he's so big and I'm not really sure if there can be enough food for him.

Ah, the snake...I doubt there's much we can do in that regard. Keeping it off of a Player diet will be expensive. I'm not certain any location would nearly have enough rodents to keep it fed.

...And from what I've seen of this city, I wouldn't particularly recommend its collection of rats.

[The wall is in her way today, however... A small chat wouldn't hurt. She hasn't seen Ryoji for a day or so now, and it's starting to get worrying.

Stopping for a chat couldn't hurt too much, so she does, waving at her ex-partner.]

(It really is getting to be a problem. Poor Ryoji...Kreutzer can only hope he's still alive (so to speak).

Still, she returns the wave to Xion.)

I'm glad to see you're still with us. Things have been unusually quiet today...not too alarming, I'll admit, but still rather ominous.

[Xion nods. Ominous is right. She'll pull out her phone, of course, to type the next message down.]

Be careful. Something is up.

(Kreutzer frowns a little.)

There always seems to be something up in this game; it's something I've come to expect.

...Is something in particular going on?

There's some really nasty Noise around now. Almost impossible to run from, and almost impossible to damage.

[She knows from having sic'd them on other players, but for now...]

I almost didn't make it.

New Noise?

(This sounded incredibly problematic. What kind of Noise could it possibly be...?)

...Perhaps that was their intent. Today's mission is rather simple, isn't it? Perhaps it's meant to be another trap.

More then likely. I'm worried about the players I haven't seen yet. Like Ryoji.

I believe he still has a partner, but it's been a few days since I've seen either of them. Zecora and the others...this doesn't bode well.

[poppetstrings]

If you see them, let them know.

As for the wall, clearing it requires either a pact or bringing me one of these.

(Kreutzer holds up her shadow matter pin.)

[poppetstrings]

[She checks her pockets for that pin.

She thinks she might have one--

Yeah, there it is. Xion pulls it out, offering it to Kruetzer.]

(She takes the pin and nods, clearing the wall and presenting Xion a Konohana Sakuya pin.)

Be careful. If you need me, you have my number.

[She doesn't move on right away.]

Don't you think the wall conditions today are a little strange?

(She ponders that for a moment.)

...You're right. Pact conditions are usually at the beginning of the week, but even then...

(Once again, Kreutz takes out her shadow matter pin.)

...I've only seen this pin as a reward for surviving last week.

Not only that, but normally pacts are also needed for certain noise fights, isn't that right?

They are. This means there's either a particularly difficult noise battle ahead or it was planned alongside the appearance of new noise.

Or both.

[poppetstrings]

[Xion nods.]

That means the higher ups know.

[suicidoll]

But did they intend on it? Could it be this week's GM? They allow GMs to go about the game as they do, but an entirely new kind of Noise? I don't like this...

[poppetstrings]

Me either. Be careful, okay?

(She nods.)
