[Well, doesn't this mission sound nice? Anyone venturing into the fields and the toy factory will find a great number of very suspicious Santas, whose sacks appear to have something alive in them... umm, he's really not Santa, is he? But think about it! The real Santa would probably be very pleased if you took care of the impostors, and surely he must live somewhere in town. So fight on and get your present!]

[That seems to do the trick as the Santa is looking at the other Player rather than Sasuke. Sasuke uses a mix of Go 2 Hell and Blink Step to dash towards stealing the bag from the Santa.]

[Excellent! Now to get the heck outta there before things start getting a bit more complicated than a hit and run.]

[Sasuke does the same before the Santa has a chance to do anything. He eventually doubles back and meets up with the other Player. He holds up the empty back and a stocking in the other hand.]

Looks like another stocking.

[How a bag that looks like someone is inside turns into a simple stocking is beyond him; that's why he's not trying to think about it too hard.]

...That's all?

[Too late, he's already pretty beffudled. Some kind of strange hammerspace?]

Is this the present we're meant to retrieve?

I don't think so. I took down another impostor and got the same thing, but...

[He holds up his hand.]

The timer is still here.

H'mm...either only a few of them have what we need, or we're being distracted.

Is there anywhere else here where we could find presents?

For this holiday, under a tree or in a stocking, but in this game, that isn't so simple.

[Taking another moment to ponder, tail twitching idly in thought]

Who exactly is this "Santa"?

[shinbunshinobi]

Normally he's a jolly old guy in red who gives presents to kids if they've behaved themselves all year. Those guys--

[He nods in the directions to the impostors]

--bear a good resemblance to him but in a more... menacing way.

Aaah, I see. [So it's possible the almost-Santas were connected and not just a distraction...maybe?]

Do you think we should keep searching the lookalikes?

[shinbunshinobi]

Unless we find someone more true to the original, we don't have many options right now.

[notsogreatape]

Right. At the very least the sacks don't seem terribly difficult to take, so it shouldn't be very long for us to collect a few.

[shinbunshinobi]

All right, let's get to it then. I'll be the distraction for this one.

[He points to an evil Santa by a tree.]

Once I get his attention, you go for the sack.

[He scoops a handful of snow and starts running. One snowball to the face coming right up.]

[That's certainly a good way to get anyone's attention, and once the Santa's distracted enough with the snow in his eyes Tarble's swooping in to grab the bag.]

[Sasuke dashes away around a corner and waits for Tarble to return. There's no way he can hide the grin on his face.]

Good work there.

[He can't help but grin himself, pretty pleased with their work.]

You too. This is going much more smoothly than I had thought it would when alone.

[While Sasuke waits to spot another impostor Santa, he might as well get some introductions out of the way.]

[He bows deep and polite, a little hesitant to be announcing any titles of his own.]

[He might have thought such manners odd if it weren't for a friend of his.]

Tarble, huh? Circumstances could be better, but it's nice to meet you too.
