Wall Instructions: Key walls in front of Lutie Fields and the Toy Factory.

[Well, doesn't this mission sound nice? Anyone venturing into the fields and the toy factory will find a great number of very suspicious Santas, whose sacks appear to have something alive in them... umm, he's really not Santa, is he? But think about it! The real Santa would probably be very pleased if you took care of the impostors, and surely he must live somewhere in town. So fight on and get your present!]

[Oh wait, does he know that already? Ryoji just stares with wide eyes, hanging on to every word Santa will say.]

But even being nice does not always mean being good, you know that?

[The warmth is still there, but there's a slight firmness, as well - as if he knows what your next question will be, and he's leading you up to a justification one way or another.]

[Ryoji laughs excitedly and nods his head a bit from his spot on the floor.

But oh, that's not the best sign. Ryoji bites his lip a little, nervous.]

I, um... I don't care if I'm on the naughty list. I kind of expected as much. But I know my friends aren't. So if you can trust me... I'd like to take them their presents.

You aren't on the naughty list yet, Ryoji. However, if you keep shirking your work... doesn't your land reward hard work and devotion?

I would think that forsaking that for a present would be even worse than a lump of coal. Don't worry; I'll still be here after your day is done.

Ah! Y-You want me to do that? I thought you wouldn't like that. It's not a very good job.

Being unhappy with your job is no reason to not to take pride in the work you do! Make them realize that they deserve you, not the other way around!

Certainly. Even if I'm not in this place when you return, I'll be around. I am, after all, most certainly in town!

They don't really deserve me... I just make everyone else job tougher!

[Still, he gives Santa a small grin and stands back up.]

Isn't that what you do by challenging them? You always had the heart to support, it is no fault of yours that you are asked to work outside your expertise occasionally as well.

So... I help them by giving them a challenge? I guess I never thought of it that way... Zecora-chan did say that Noise would drop pins for her if I ever sent some her way.

Indeed, indeed! If we're simply handed everything we desire, we become lazy and weak. With a challenge, we can grow! Become stronger!

It's hard to believe challenges could be good. I gave my friends one, and they suffered so much through it.
