WEEK 3 DAY 3: MISSION

Mission: Spread holiday cheer to the town!
Time Limit: Long
Noise Plane: Solo
Wall Instructions: Neku, the Flutters, and Kreutzer are explicitly assigned to wall duty, other reapers may man key walls around town as desired. Wall-clearing requirements must involve cheering the reaper in question up somehow.
Wall Rewards: Whirlygig Juggle
Reaped Rewards: Aqua Ghost
Mission Rewards: Adamantite
Bonus Reward: Love Me Tether

[It seems this week's GM is pretty easy-going, as this is another simple mission... it seems that spirits are still somewhat down amidst the RG, to say nothing of the Reapers. Obviously, one or more of them need to be happy to clear the mission. But which ones?

Strangely, all phones will get a second mail a few minutes after the first, though it's a little different than the mission mail... it actually seems to be in a somewhat stylized script, and reads quite differently.]

While those in this Game are carrying out your mission, there is one grinch who seems to be quite intent on befouling the name of this town and perhaps all of Christmas! Perhaps if you could find it in your heart to spread a little Christmas cheer to that snakey soul, Santa might have an extra present for you!

[[OOC note: Just like W2D7, you get a secondary mission! It's not gonna be easy, though, and the Reaper in question definitely did NOT agree to such a thing...]]

[Sasuke grins. So, threatening/blackmailing with his image works. He'll remember that. He does come back with a standard Santa hat and tosses it at Asakura when he's in range.]

Pretty much. Apparently you always have to do something before they take it down. It seems the Reapers want us to waste our time. ♪

[Speaking of which, she remembers to glance at her timer.]

[Asakura tries a bit of weak kicking but that's more an automatic reaction to getting swung around than anything. He's definitely trying to get loose.]

...and it doesn't look like he's going to put that hat on. Not unlike a very spoiled child, really.]

[Good thing Asakura can't see with that hat over his eyes, because he's blindly and reflexively attempted to take a swing at Sasuke in response. He'll then reach up and readjust the hat so that he can at least see. Dude still looks pretty angry.

But hey, he didn't give into his first urge to yank that thing off and stomp on it.]

[Yeah, like Ryoji will let that happen. Keep kicking him and he'll probably just fling you at the wall-

Sorry, got bored. Thanatos roars as his arm whips to the side, sending Asakura flying.]

Ow. He's trying to get up, although getting his wind back first is also high up on his list of priorities. Mostly, he's just looking beaten.]

[Sasuke laughs to himself and begins to walk away. Even if he hasn't completely the second mission, Sasuke is please enough with the results.]

[As Sasuke's walking away, Asakura comes very, very close to flinging a snowball at the other's head.

Instead, he stalks away to nurse his wounded pride and lay low for a while...and let's be honest. As soon as Sasuke's well out of the area, he's probably destroying the hat. Holding up his end of a bargain just isn't something he's good at.]

[Thanatos hovers over, and after a long moment, calms down enough to finally speak again.]

[Zecora found one that's reversible, the better to suit both Shys' tastes. The one side is a softer red, the other a deep black.]

[When he died, it was pretty much a suicide. Running into a crowd of cops with guns when all you had was a lead pipe and your rage? That's generally not a survivable encounter. He's trying to make eye contact with Ryoji now, even if it looks a little glassy, like Asakura just might need to pass out.]
