WEEK 3 DAY 5: ......?
Mission:
Time Limit:
Noise Plane: Solo
Wall Instructions:
Wall Rewards: 5,000 Zeny
Reaped Rewards: 10,000 Zeny
Mission Rewards:
[Still no mission! But there's a couple things of note. Santa was gone yesterday, but now he's apparently come back to his house. And there might be familiar faces going into the Toy Factory. Other than that, though, there's nothing really different. It may also be of interest that there doesn't seem to be any repercussions for doing nothing yesterday...]

... you were with them when they went into the tunnels below the church, right?
[He pauses a moment, glancing back into the factory before stepping out and, effectively, beyond it's decal'd boundaries and back into the UG.]
Shibuya's Composer wanted to destroy his city, because it was chaotic and stagnating, threatening to poison neighboring districts - like Shinjuku. But his Conductor thought it could still be saved, so they played a Game of their own. The only problem was, the Conductor thought that he could change Shibuya by brainwashing its people to all think the same exact thing. Unifying and harmonizing, yes, but... in the end, it isn't everyone thinking the same way that prompts change; it's individuality and clashing values. So it didn't work.
The brainwashing was done with pins, Imprinted with a specific command.
[And with a little hand motion, he's prompting her to make a connection with one of last week's missions.]

And the illegal entrant to the Game?
Was that different, or part of the same?
I'm beginning to see how this all fits
But some answers still escape my wits.

I for one was formally inducted.
If I wasn't supposed to be in
Would they have given me a phone and Pin?

Regardless, my case still stands. If there is someone in this Game that's an illegal entrant, it could be difficult to say. To a Player, they would seem to be just another Player.

And travel to each new location unfurled.
What state do they occupy?
In, out, neither, and in any case, why?
[She's musing out loud, not expecting him to have the answers.]

Entered in other games? And how did they score?
[Joshua is clearly the Game Expert in Zecora's mind.]

But from what Neku said, it was slim to one.
Still, the parallels are clear
But what do they hope to accomplish here?
no subject
It could be any number of things, really. It's too difficult to say with what little we have to go on.
no subject
Might give us someplace to begin.
You have seen them with human eyes.
Is there any connection you recognize?

Not three separate ones, but all the same?

[He's still suspicious, of course, but he's not totally dismissing it. It could be the truth, or it could just be a lie to throw him off.]

That does not mean the Game itself rearranges.
If the same -- Composer? -- remains in charge
Then Shinjuku's Game is just at large.

Why are these cities not the same?
Surely the local folks
Would not appreciate these jokes.

Then I'd place money on that bet.
Perhaps they seek to unearth
An item of otherworldly worth.

Of an attempt to bring a revolution.

That they would like in their own coffer?
no subject
Greed, perhaps. Maybe the Composer of Shinjuku's Game is trying to spread their reach far beyond where it should rightfully stay. It's all speculation, of course; merely a thought brought up by our GM friend from last week.
