Noise Plane: Solo
Wall Instructions: None. Keep harrying.
Wall Rewards: ( If anyone puts one up anyway: Hot Dog )
Reaped Rewards: Murasame
Mission Rewards: Earthshake

[Anyone who saw the Noise Sigils from Tocho's Observation Decks the day before will know exactly what this mission is talking about. Those who didn't may not realize that there is more than one. That plural form's sneaky.

But either way, there's a Mammoth Boss in the middle of Shinjuku Gyoen, and a Fox Boss in front of the Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower. They are very tough and cannot be defeated alone. Apparently the GM really has it out for the Players today - and anyone who steps to the plate may feel as though they're being watched.]

[this kid. Where did he lern 2 date? Romance novels? geez.] "Dates" are too serious to do with more than one person at a time. You need to find other ways to get to know them. You know, make friends, first. Maybe go to a movie, or get coffee. But don't call it a date. You'll hurt someone's feelings.

[He's NOT HUMAN. Where else would he have learned?] Ohhhhh. So I just don't call it a date, and it's okay!

[he's starting to guess that. Between the cluelessness and the weird reiatsu... Ichigo sighs] Yeah. Words are important. Call it an "outing" or something. And do it after the mission is over, or the higher-ups might chew you out. Or worse. But if you try to see a bunch of people at once, you're gonna end up alone when they find out. You know? ... [he gets a little closer] ... What ARE you, exactly? You're not human, right?

[So shocked by that that he isn't even responding to Ichigo's advice, just baaaaacking away.] Um, w-well, um, it's not something I'm entirely comfortable sharing yet...

[Ichigo looks a little confused, then he backs off, holding up his clawed hands in a sign of peace] Ah, sorry. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. I was just curious... Ah... damn. Too forward... I'm not really human either. But you don't have to say anything if you don't want to. [his aura was just so different. Almost like a Shinigami. Almost.] How about names, first. I'm Ichigo.

I-It's okay, I'm sorry for being so forward with everyone... I could tell you aren't human. You don't look very normal, i-if you don't mind me saying so... A-Anyways, I'm Ryoji Mochizuki...

[And what the heck, may as well give Ichigo some hint as to what he is.] I've been known as Thanatos too, though.

Ah, yeah, I know. [Ryoji is actually one of the only people who's made mention of it, surprisingly] I'm not really. Not right now. I'm what's called a "Hollow" in my world. There don't seem to be any in this one. [though the Noise are close. He nods at the name] Ryoji. Got it.

Thanatos... [he knows that word. It simply means "Death". Appropriate, that he's a Reaper, then.] Are you a Shinigami, then?

Hollow? Strange... what does that mean?

Ah? Shinigami... a Reaper? K-Kind of. I'm the literal translation of what Thanatos means. The Thirteenth Arcana... [Okay now he's going to go hide in his scarf again.]

[tamedhollow]

It means I'm a human soul who got corrupted and turned into a monster... but I'm in control of myself. [usually.]

So... you're Death. Big "D" Death? [this guy? Really?]

[notsogrimreaper]

Oh... I know the feeling. At least you can control yourself. When I turn, I-I'm not very good at staying in control.

Um... yeah. Granted, my mother, Nyx, is more powerful, since she created me, but... [He reaaaaally doesn't like it when she tries to have a say in who dies.]

... Yeah. I have issues with that, sometimes. [Now he'd found someone like him... Why did he have to be so weird?]

Well... are your powers intact? Someone in control of death could change the flow of this Game. [he frowns]

[notsogrimreaper]

[Hey, he can mellow occasionally!]

...They are, but when I'm away from Nyx, I'm not as powerful. The most I can do is transform into Thanatos. And I guess I can't be injured, either. If I knew how to stop all the death, I would. But I think me merely existing means people will still die.

[tamedhollow]

[Ichigo looks down, frowning] I was worried about that. It seems like people lost some of their powers, when they got pulled to this world. [he looks up] There were some people who could jump between worlds and found that power gone. But that doesn't mean you can't help somehow. For now, do what the higher ups tell you, and keep your head low. We're gonna figure something out... and get EVERYONE home.

[notsogrimreaper]

...You want to do that too? I promise, I'll help however I can. Whatever you need, just tell me.

[tamedhollow]

[he nods] I'm only playing along until I find a way out... or find a way to change the game. Where I come from, there's an afterlife. None of this... Erasing souls stuff. This isn't right.

[notsogrimreaper]

...I hope there's an afterlife for everyone here. They deserve it.

[tamedhollow]

... I've talked to people familiar with this world and it's Game. ... there's no where for the Souls to go. Apparently. [his tone implies that he's not totally convinced of that] Except to become Reapers.

[notsogrimreaper]

...Maybe that's not true. Or they can go to another world with a better afterlife.

[tamedhollow]

[Ichigo nods] Either way, I'm going to find a way to help them. It... [he trails off and shakes his head] Anyway. Remember what I said, ok?

I'll remember! You can count on me, Ichigo-kun!

[Ichigo sighs and takes off, kicking up a little street dirt with his wings. He really hopes his advice was sound... and doesn't end up backfiring. Somewhere along the line...]
