[After a long trek through the snowy field, a row of fancy heat lamps and a stone gate finally come into view. Through it, the town of Lutie is visible, and looking quite welcoming with its Christmas greetings everywhere. Compared to the frozen tundra, you'll want to hurry inside - just try not to let the wall hit you on the way in! And once the gate is passed, the first thing you'll see is a massive Christmas Tree.... ]

[Weird as hell. But a hunter had to have the tools to hunt.

Ichigo drops down on all fours, pawing at the snow, then he stands back up and sniffs the air. This way, and that... and then he catches a whiff of something rather... pungent in the wind]


Urghh! There's definitely something upwind of here. Something... kind of bear-ish?

Bear-ish? [Well, at least it's not a slime... thing.] Wanna check it out?

Bears have a real distinctive smell. It's kind of like that. [he nods] Whatever it is, it'll be more interesting than the snots. Let's go.

Ok. [And off they go! we're going on a bear hunt, to see what we can se--/shot]

[NO SINGING ON THE BEAR HUNT.

Ichigo follows the scent, and eventually finds something large, white, and fluffy curled up in the snow. He grabs his nose and whispers harshly to Neku]

God, do you smell that? I think my nose is gonna fall off.

[needsmorezippers]

Um... not more than normal, really. [Sorry, he has a boring human noise.

But this thing... looks interesting. He briefly checks to make sure he has his good pins one, just in case.]

God... You're lucky.

[it's asleep, but that can change quickly. But Ichigo doesn't want to accidentally attack a native or something. A sapient native. So he carefully, cautiously pokes the white hunk of fur with his claws. It growls, then rolls over and stands up.

And the sasquatch roars really loud]

Well it's not nice!! [Ichigo summons his "blade"]

[Did you just- sigh. Oh well.

Neku has his pins ready, starting with the fire pin again. Hey, everything around here is ice and snow, so it should do something.]

[If you haven't noticed yet, Neku, Ichigo sometimes does stupid things.

But he's also a very competent fighter. He unleashes a flurry of slashes on the bear-thing. It retaliates with a very powerful swing of its paws, catching Ichigo off guard and slamming him into a nearby tree with a rather loud "CRACK".

And now the bleeding sasquatch has its eyes on Neku]


Ow.... He... packs a punch...

Are you ok?!

[Even as he says that, he attacks, fire swelling up around the creature and if that doesn't work, getting stabbing by giant icicles should.]

I'm fine! [Ichigo growls and slides down the tree to the ground, popping his shoulder back into place. With the bear thing distracted by the onslaught of psychs, Ichigo sneaks up behind it.

Time to treat it like he would any other prey.

With a powerful leap, he jumps onto the creature's shoulders, taking its head firmly between his hands. Then twisting, quickly, before it can slap him off again.

CRACK.

A broken neck will fell even the mightiest beast]

[Holy shit. Um. Well, that's one way to do it...]

I've killed a bear like that before. [a bear that decided it was going to challenge him for some of the deer he'd killed out in the woods back home. Dumb bear.] I just thought I might give it more of a chance. But I'm not out here to be sporting.

[Ichigo looks over the slumped animal and finds... well.

He holds up a very pretty, sparkling white stone]

Look at this! I think it's an opal!

[...To Neku it looks like a sparkly rock, but if you say so.]

That's good, I guess?

I don't know. Could be. [Ichigo tucks it into his pack, and then looks at the dead bear thing]

... Do you think the skin would sell?

[needsmorezippers]

Maybe. I'm sure someone would want it.

[tamedhollow]

Alright. I'm going to skin it, then. ... It might take me a bit. Maybe you can go smash a few more slimes. They might have SOMETHING useful. [Ichigo rolls the monster over on it's back and goes to work with his claws]

Right. [So Neku goes off to hunts slimes. Yippee.]

[How exciting for you, Neku! Meanwhile, Ichigo has to work fast before the corpse cools and freezes... or disappears. Whatever happens in RPGs. A slice up the belly, keeping the head and paws intact. His claws made quick work of the connective tissue between the skin and the muscle. Howeve nasty the thing smelled on the outside, the inside just smelled like rich meat. Yeah, just gonna take a few bites of this meat as he works, too]

[Yea, Neku doesn't want to see that process, so he only returns when he's pretty sure Ichigo has to be done.]

[It's pretty gross! But when Neku returns, Ichigo has the thing skinned and cleaned, with the skin rolled up under his arm. The corpse is no where to be found, since he... ate a lot of it. And buried the rest] Any luck?

[needsmorezippers]

A couple things, but nothing impressive. [He shows Ichigo what he found, 'cause idk anything about RO.]

[I've just been using this resource and picking things at random XD]

[Hmm. Two more chunks of that purple stuff, some candy, and some sticky goop. Ichigo takes them and puts them in his bag] Well, better than nothing. We'll see what we can get for all this stuff and split it evenly.

Sounds good to me. [Though, honestly, he doesn't need swords or anything like Ichigo, so he wouldn't mind helping him out there.]

Wanna head back for now? Seems like the only crap out here are slimes and bears.
