[After a long trek through the snowy field, a row of fancy heat lamps and a stone gate finally come into view. Through it, the town of Lutie is visible, and looking quite welcoming with its Christmas greetings everywhere. Compared to the frozen tundra, you'll want to hurry inside - just try not to let the wall hit you on the way in! And once the gate is passed, the first thing you'll see is a massive Christmas Tree.... ]

Alright. I'm going to skin it, then. ... It might take me a bit. Maybe you can go smash a few more slimes. They might have SOMETHING useful. [Ichigo rolls the monster over on it's back and goes to work with his claws]

His claws made quick work of the connective tissue between the skin and the muscle. Howeve nasty the thing smelled on the outside, the inside just smelled like rich meat. Yeah, just gonna take a few bites of this meat as he works, too]

[Yea, Neku doesn't want to see that process, so he only returns when he's pretty sure Ichigo has to be done.]

[It's pretty gross! But when Neku returns, Ichigo has the thing skinned and cleaned, with the skin rolled up under his arm. The corpse is no where to be found, since he... ate a lot of it. And buried the rest] Any luck?

[Hmm. Two more chunks of that purple stuff, some candy, and some sticky goop. Ichigo takes them and puts them in his bag] Well, better than nothing. We'll see what we can get for all this stuff and split it evenly.

Sounds good to me. [Though, honestly, he doesn't need swords or anything like Ichigo, so he wouldn't mind helping him out there.]

Wanna head back for now? Seems like the only crap out here are slimes and bears.

[the walk back isn't too eventful. Ichigo swats away a particularly insistant Marin which drops nothing. Little shit. He tunes down to the RG upon entering the town]

Well, the merchants should buy. That's how it usually works in games like this. [Ichigo approaches the nearest merchant cart] Hey, uh, do you buy loot here?

[They do, in fact! They offer what is probably slightly less than the value of the item, but that's how it always works.]

[Of course. But the opal fetches a pretty penny, and the rest of the junk accumulates. However, the merchant is very happy to see the skin. Not many people being him skins!!

Split between the two of them, their gains come to about 6500 zeni each. Not too bad, for an hour or two's work]

2000 I think? I have plenty now. Maybe even enough to get it upgraded!

Good. [He would have given you some of his if you needed it- it's not like he needs or can use a weapon.]

No. Never really had a reason to.

[Honestly, that's not something he ever thought about. But it could be pretty cool... He looks over at Ichigo and manages a little smile.]

[Ichigo procures another sword and hands it to Neku] Here. It's not the best thing in the world, but it'll do.
