[After a long trek through the snowy field, a row of fancy heat lamps and a stone gate finally come into view. Through it, the town of Lutie is visible, and looking quite welcoming with its Christmas greetings everywhere. Compared to the frozen tundra, you'll want to hurry inside - just try not to let the wall hit you on the way in! And once the gate is passed, the first thing you'll see is a massive Christmas Tree.... ]

I found him injured and starving. Brought him home, nursed him back to health, and then some. He decided to stick around after that.

[It also helps that Sasuke tends to spoil the bird.]

[Zecora outright grins at her little joke. SHE has no doubts of Sasuke's true nature, after all, but she guesses he had more of a tough-guy front with his teammates.]

[Zecora laughs, and bumps against him slightly as they walk, pleased that she's managed to tease him.]

[But the comparison between the two of them, human and zebra, gets her thinking.]

I wonder if we'll see a town
With stranger-still people around.

Maybe I'll be the odd one out, and you'll have to do all the talking for me.

[He kinda hopes that will be the case. He'd like a break with the diplomacy.]

[Why do you think he lets he take the lead when it comes to Reapers and such? He deals with the RGers; she can handle the others.]

Only if they're as understanding as you and me, but we're pleasant enough. I don't know why anyone would have a problem with us.

Now, if we can only figure out this mission... Any idea what a "tannenbaum" is, Ms. Zebra?

It sounds like a language or two I've heard in my time.
I think it means that great tree -- if I recall a rhyme.

A tree? Of course. We need to head over to that thing.

[He points to the Christmas Tree]

If we're sticking with the Christmas theme, then a Christmas Tree is where we need to be.
