WEEK 3 DAY 3: MISSION

Mission: Spread holiday cheer to the town!
Time Limit: Long
Noise Plane: Solo
Wall Instructions: Neku, the Flutters, and Kreutzer are explicitly assigned to wall duty, other reapers may man key walls around town as desired. Wall-clearing requirements must involve cheering the reaper in question up somehow.
Wall Rewards: Whirlygig Juggle
Reaped Rewards: Aqua Ghost
Mission Rewards: Adamantite
Bonus Reward: Love Me Tether

[It seems this week's GM is pretty easy-going, as this is another simple mission... it seems that spirits are still somewhat down amidst the RG, to say nothing of the Reapers. Obviously, one or more of them need to be happy to clear the mission. But which ones?

Strangely, all phones will get a second mail a few minutes after the first, though it's a little different than the mission mail... it actually seems to be in a somewhat stylized script, and reads quite differently.]

While those in this Game are carrying out your mission, there is one grinch who seems to be quite intent on befouling the name of this town and perhaps all of Christmas! Perhaps if you could find it in your heart to spread a little Christmas cheer to that snakey soul, Santa might have an extra present for you!

[Thank goodness for the snow, then; Zecora doesn't know enough to avoid them intentionally. The Mammoth's tremor attack isn't enough to knock a quadruped to the ground, but the shudders still hurt. A nearby snowman flies up to slam into its trunk viciously.]

[Asakura's just scowling as that stops the Mammoth's charge for a moment. These new monsters are nowhere near as effective as his own, and that's really getting on his nerves.]

[Another tremor attack has the zebra reeling, though! Could he finally be on the verge of Erasing her?]

[No, she has a Croc Leisure Pin. She burns a charge of it, then slashes lines of fire through the mammoth again.]

[Okay, it's time for a strategy change...or at least an attempt in stealing the strategy of a guy he fought back home. Hope you like bats, Zecora, because he's summoning Bat Noise, and in multiples.

He's clearly hoping the numbers will overwhelm and confuse her. It's Kamen Rider Knight's Trick Vent, albeit with bat monsters instead of bat-themed Riders. Close enough.]

[Well, the sheer number of Pins from this chain battle ought to make up for the misery -- but you forgot Velocity Attack, Asakura! With its protective power she slams through the bats brutally.]

[Oh, come ON, this is just a talking horse! How hard can this be? Asakura's trying summoning both a Mammoth and a Drake now because he likes the big Noise a little too much.]

A CHALLENGER APPEARS

(See, now that's just being rude, Asakura. Two big enemies against one zebra? Not saying she can't handle it, but this is just excessive. Good thing that of the two Noise, mammoths are stationary. Too bad their stomping can make avoiding the Drake very challenging.

That's why the mammoth will quickly find itself surrounded by bombs. Lazy bomber, courtesy of one (1) Solar Boy. The best weapon for stationary enemies.)

I hope I'm not too late to join in.

[Zecora breathes a sigh of relief. She truly has no idea how she could have handled two massive, near-boss-level Noise by herself.]

Running would be the smart thing to do. I'm getting vexed...

[Asakura is clearly NOT HAPPY at suddenly having two Players to deal with while he doesn't have the benefit of many reflective surfaces nearby. At least he seems willing to let his current Noise finish up before sending out any more.]

Might not be a bad idea. Depends on how much longer you can keep going; I can hold him off if anything.

(At that, he'll begin opening fire with Cutie Beam.)

I wish he'd just concede the win.
I'd hate to waste the effort I put in.

[Only her healing Pin is limited use, though. So long as they keep rebooting, she can keep fighting.]

[Sore loser, anyone? Really, at the rate he's burning through Noise, he might need to rethink his tactics.]

Then we'll just have to see if we fight one out of him.

(Django can keep fighting as long as it takes to get things finished. And that's just accounting for his shounen hero-level willpower.)
