[Scanning the area, a little girl is thinking fondly about a recent trip to Shinjuku's Fire Museum. It seems they have a red helicopter on a floor of the building...]

[.... But how can you get it to fly? The controls are locked, so you'll have to find another way.]

CLEARED!

[It was a bit ironic; being unseen by those in the Realground was a relief he wished he had when he was hunting down the Time Gears, before his death. Now, it simply served as a bitter reminder that he was dead, and that even should he come back, he had failed in his life's biggest mission. No more, though, Grovyle swore. He would win the Game, and then... he would have the option to choose. This world certainly didn't seem to be paralyzed, perhaps he would stay here.

Grovyle had gotten the hang of battling Noise by this point, and he trusted Rhyme's intuition; there was no doubts that this was where they needed to be in order to finish the mission. At the same time, she was right about something else - the controls to the helicopter are locked tight, with no sign of releasing them. In addition, finding this out meant that he was seperated from his partner, leaving him with very little in the way of leads OR backup.

No sense in wasting time, the Pokémon mused to himself, I won't find her if I don't search. And with that, he set off looking for the small human girl... it was strange, thinking of her as his "partner" after what went on in his life, but it also felt somewhat right in at the same time. It was reassuring, but at the same time it didn't help to think that he was alone, possibly easy prey for any reapers that might come by.]

[Thankfully, Grovyle was far more used to this than the cordial, almost hesitant reaction he got from Ichigo the day before; living in a world where pokémon would sooner attack you than not, he'd trained himself to be ready for combat at a moment's notice. Instantly his pins once more drop into his hand, the now-familiar sensation of the Masamune pin fueling his attack.

A full combo worth of leaf-slashes isn't enough to take down one of the noise, though, and he tucks into a roll to try to avoid the twin wolves while his sole means of attack recharges. It's not entirely successful, the 'mon taking a few scratches in the interim.]

What if it was? Would you take your toys and go home if you found out I actually wanted them?

[It's a bit of a baseless taunt, but for some reason, it felt unnatural to him to allow a reaper the last laugh.]

[There's a frustrated moment as Grovyle once more tries to get that new Pop Pendulum pin to work, to no avail. A moment later, he feels the energy returning to his Masamune pin and erases one of the wolves, starting to lay into the other before retreating once more.]

I'll pass, thanks. Don't want to be selfish.

[A second reboot of Masamune is all it takes, and he wastes the other noise, gathering up a few stray pins from the ruckus and starting to flee before the reaper takes chase. Rhyme, where the hell are you..?]
carsharkkonishi: (there is no stupid questions)

If I may?

[And Rhyme hears someone running, oddly enough, in her direction. No one runs in a museum, so it was pretty odd. Turning to face the noise, she starts heading toward it, slowly but steadily, until she sees Grovyle.]

Hey! Grovyle! Over here!

Grovyle doesn't stop in his fleeing until he reaches Rhyme, wheeling around to see if he was followed, grunting to himself. He's definitely a bit more beat up than he looked when the two got seperated, and his words suggest why.

"Nn. Stick together. There are more reapers around like that one we found near Don Quixote. The NOT nice ones. Get ready; maybe you'll have more luck with those pins I couldn't use."

Panting to catch his breath, Grovyle readies himself, focusing the energy into that Croc Leisure pin; at least ONE pin he'd gotten worked for him.

"You mean the Pop Pendulum one?" she asked, getting her pins out. They'd started to work out a system, too. "Why are they following you?! The other one didn't follow us!" she yelled, focusing her energy into the Crackle Pop Barrier pin, starting to glow and crackle like an ember.

"Not everyone is as nice as the wall reapers we've run across! Sometimes, you've gotta focus on looking out for number one, and that's what this one seems to be doing!" Grovyle's voice might be a bit snappish, but he leans in after a moment, trying to ignore the heat from his partner's barrier as he follows up once more with the slicing shockwaves from his leaves, pursuing the flinching minks.
carsharkkonishi: (bitch plz)

"Well I could have guessed that! But why can't we figure this out sooner? Aren't there warning signs?" she yelled worried-like as she through a boomerang in front of the Pokemon, helping him and hitting on of the minks.
