[This is the vaguest mystery ever. But, scan around and one thing will become apparent. Even if the second day was spent entirely clearing noise from the area, they're all back in full force, and they seem to be possessing more people than usual. These people have feelings of hopelessness, apathy and death. But just scanning them doesn't seem to give the answers why. If the mission can believed, this is not something the Reapers have done, but something to do with the world itself. Surely someone must know the truth....]

[Ryoji yelps at the contact, doubling over for a moment as his eyes catch the bar of soap. So whoever had hit him hadn't done it to hurt, exactly. Just to pester. He sits up, glaring over the couch, but his glare lessens a bit when she sees Asakura. He still doesn't like the Reaper, but he seems to be one of Ryoji's only options right now as he looks for someone to kill him.]

If you're not going to throw something harder, don't waste my time.

[Asakura cannot resist such an opening. He walks over to the front desk, steals the bell you're supposed to ring for service, walks back into the lobby, and chucks the bell at Ryoji.]

[Ryoji winces a bit. That one actually hurt, and the knob at the end of it cut into his head a bit, drawing the smallest amount of blood. Still, he's not going to stop his provoking.]

Keep going.

[Asakura has someone's shoe now. Where he got the shoe from is a mystery, as he still has both of his. There's probably some poor NPC wandering around the hotel now, wondering where in the world their shoe got off to. He hurls that at Ryoji, despite the fact that even he's noticed that something is very wrong here.]

[He feels that one hit his arm, and he calls out.]

Your aim is a little off.

[He's actually a little bothered too. Shoes aren't going to do enough damage.]

Shoes aren't really aerodynamic...

[This feels like a trap. It really feels like a trap...and watch it, Ryoji, there is an incoming lamp flying your way. Asakura took it off of one of the end tables. Maybe he'll get a better reaction this way.

He's probably not the hotel staff's favorite person right now.]

[notsogrimreaper]

[The lamp hits him and shatters, pieces of the pottery and the glass bulb cutting his face and arms. He winces a bit, but still seems determined not to retaliate. He just stands in place, stubborn.]

That was a little better. Still not enough.

[vexed_snake]

[Asakura's still confused at this, and he actually leaves the room for a moment. There's a loud thumping noise and the sound of someone yelling something about a vending machine, and then he returns with a couple of cans. He chucks one at Ryoji.]

[notsogrimreaper]

[It hurts, but it isn't sharp. Ryoji honestly looks a little frustrated by this point.]

The lamp was better.

[vexed_snake]

Really? I thought these would be much more aerodynamic.

[He throws another can at Ryoji, albeit harder this time.]

[notsogrimreaper]

[He actually yelps at that one, forehead bruising slightly.]

You... really aren't so tough. You could actually try hitting me with your own hands.

[vexed_snake]

Fine, then.

[And he'll walk right up to Ryoji and take a swing at him. As long as he doesn't do enough damage that things get fatal, everything should be fine.]

[notsogrimreaper]

[Ryoji stumbles backwards, vision already swimming. He tries to at least stay on his feet, but he can only take so much constant abuse. Maybe Asakura won't notice, though, and he'll just keep pummeling him until the end.]

[vexed_snake]

[Oh, that felt good. Asakura takes another swing at poor Ryoji. He'll also try to stop Ryoji from falling down by reaching out to grab him by the collar.

Someone in the hotel staff is probably calling the police by now.]

[notsogrimreaper]

[Ryoji can't even hear anything anymore. The voices around him are as muffled as his vision. He doesn't fight back, but he does cry out sometimes, and even then, even through all the blood and tears on his face, he's still smiling.]

[vexed_snake]

[Wait a second, Ryoji is sustaining serious injury. And he is smiling. Reluctantly, Asakura backs off.]

I think that's enough for now.

[notsogrimreaper]

[His smile rapidly fades into confusion and a little regret. He was so close this time... but it seemed like he would need to rely on his friends to kill him instead of his enemies.]

Don't stop, please.

[vexed_snake]

"Please?" Well now, that's the magic word.

[And he'll turn to leave because being asked nicely kind of has that effect on him.]

I think I've done enough here. That was fun...and you're still breathing.

[notsogrimreaper]

[Ryoji slides onto the floor, hardly keeping himself conscious, but he still tries to call out to Asakura.]

N-No, wait! I can... I can take more! Don't do this! Don't...

[And he can't hold on any longer before falling backwards and passing out.]

[For a moment, Asakura stops to look at Ryoji passed out there. Maybe he'll change his mind?

...no, he's going to draw all over Ryoji's face before leaving. The hotel probably didn't mean for their complementary ink pens to be used in such a manner...]
