WEEK 4 DAY 5: MISSION

Noise Plane: Duet
Wall Instructions: Key wall in front of Paulownia Mall.
Wall Rewards: Hip Snake
Reaped Rewards: Hot Gaze
Mission Rewards: Choose ONE: 1-handed sword, 2-handed sword, Boxing Gloves, Knuckles, Axe, Hammer, Spear, Bow, or Kunai.

[Another day, another Noise-erasing mission. However, this time there is a definite cause behind the noise: Someone has been wreaking havoc in the Police Station, and the Officer there is really starting to get tired of not being able to catch the culprit. To get rid of the Noise completely, the Players will have to address this little problem. But anyone who helps will be rewarded with a weapon... apparently, some strings have been pulled in that regard. Could the higher-ups be planning something?]

As it turns out, I'm rather difficult to put down. I've had my share of trouble, especially considering a few other reapers, but I've managed. Though the blindness is still an issue, I'm managing along even without my sight.

I do hope Lovers has been helping you through.

Precisely. Four days done and three more to go. Still, it's very concerning...this week's setting. There's so much negativity around that I can't help but wonder if that's special to this setting or if it's been present the entire time.

Yeah... We have not a single dragon fewmet of what's going on here. We even tried making a mission to cheer someone up. But some mute said she couldn't because she doesn't know what the flying feather's going on, either. Are the higher-ups doing this, or what...?

I wouldn't be surprised if they were. They're much more in control than what we're lead to believe and let's be honest: this wouldn't be the first time they've tampered with things. There's much more going on here than we're aware of and I worry things will only get worse.

As for the mute girl...I believe you're talking about Xion. If you are, then she's my partner this week.

I think Flutterface is kinda creeped out by it. But c'mon, she's taken in much worse. So much worse. Literally.

Oh? How's that working out for you?

I don't doubt that by the slightest. She's much stronger than she lets on.

Still very much interesting. She saved my life on the first day and we've been managing through the week since. In a way, we're making up for each others' weaknesses; she points things out to me I can't scan and I can speak for both of us as needed. I think it's working out wonderfully.

...Say, how do you think you can work without her?

[The Flutters Are Reapers, after all. Fluttercruel looks around, wondering if Xion is around. If she is, then Fluttercruel will just allow them to work together. If not, then she'll just see how Kreutz handles herself.]

Aside from being unable to completely defeat Noise on my own, I'd say I stand a chance.

It's best to never underestimate the handicapped.

(If there's anything to be interpreted from this, it's that Kreutz's ego is still very much intact. That's totally a good thing.)

[It's a good thing Kreutzer encountered The Flutters. And even though Fluttercruel's cruel, she can at least wait until everything's ready to go as they're friends.

She casually lays back, fluttering around Kreutzer.]

You bucking know it. I had no idea I'd be going this long without it back when I first started.

[Thankfully, it seems like Xion isn't actually too far away, so Kruetz doesn't have to travel very far to find the mute girl.]

Hey, it works. Nothing to worry about!

Well, now you know you can last this long without it. That and the first cup next week will be that much more enjoyable.

(Welp. That solves the problem easily. Lovers, the magical flying doll, points Kreutzer out to her and leads her there. Looks like the girl is busy speaking with a reaper at the moment. An adorable reaper, but a reaper nonetheless.

Once Kreutz can feel her partner closeby, she smiles a bit.)

I think we're ready now, Cruelly.

You bucking got that right. I can't wait for that cup...

[Fluttercruel nods.]

Here we go: Defeat all this noise!

[And it starts. Each of the duo get a Grizzly and 3 Popguins each. Hopefully, it's not too hard. It IS toward the end of the week, so...]

[Even these noise are nothing compared to the heartless she's faced and fighting Roxas. Granted, she had her keyblade to deal the blows then.

Still, she's doing rather well right now, going after the Popguins first.]

(Likewise, things would be easier if Kreutz had her regular magic, but of course things can't be that easy.

Not that she really minds, right now; the pins she has are more than enough to deal with this group. As long as she keeps them at a distance, Kreutz will be able to fight them off just fine. Since the Popguins are the most mobile, she'll start picking them off with One Stroke, Vast Wealth.)

[While The Popguins are getting slowly picked off, it doesn't mean the Grizzlies are just standing around with their mouths agape They're trying to attack the players, too. They might even get a couple hits in.]

[poppetstrings]

[There is an advantage to having her body like this. No pain. And if one of her arms gets disjointed, she can just pop it back with little effort. So even if the grizzlies smack her around, she doesn't really feel a thing.]

(Kreutzer sadly doesn't have that advantage and as squishy as she is, she's definitely trying to avoid that. While backing away from an approaching grizzly, she focuses Eyes Full of Hope on it. It probably won't kill it, but it should at least slow its approach.)

[Kreutzer does slow it down a bit. But she can't forget about the Popguins slip sliding everywhere. The Flutters see that Xion's having an easier time, having already erased a couple of Popguins by now. Still, Xion should be careful not to get TOO damaged.]

[poppetstrings]

[It would be awful if something were to happen to her body that would cause it to be irreparably damaged, wouldn't it? She doesn't really seem to care, however. Attacking the noise with reckless abandon to get it over with quickly. The less time they spend here, the more time they can be spending on looking for the source.]

(Kreutzer is apparently more worried about Xion's condition than Xion herself; she can at least try to repair her body if needed, but the doll maker would really prefer to not let things get that bad.

However, Kreutzer decides it's better to attack all of her enemies at once rather than idly pick them out. She activates Shout and with a sustained note, turns her singing voice into a shockwave to damage her foes.)

[I don't want to drag this out too long, so... With the efforts of both players, all the noise is erased soon enough. Fluttercruel looks over the both of them.]

...Nice jobs, players. Good to see you still here and kicking.

[She hands the rewards over to the players, telling what it does so Kreutzer can use it to it's fullest.]

I'm surprised you did that good, Kreutz. Keep on surprising us like that!

[Xion stands back, letting Kruetzer talk to her... friend? Was that the type of person this reaper was?
