WEEK 4 DAY 5: MISSION

Mission: "Free Paulownia Mall from Noise."
Time Limit: Long
Noise Plane: Duet
Wall Instructions: Key wall in front of Paulownia Mall.
Wall Rewards: Hip Snake
Reaped Rewards: Hot Gaze
Mission Rewards: Choose ONE: 1-handed sword, 2-handed sword, Boxing Gloves, Knuckles, Axe, Hammer, Spear, Bow, or Kunai.

[Another day, another Noise-erasing mission. However, this time there is a definite cause behind the noise: Someone has been wreaking havoc in the Police Station, and the Officer there is really starting to get tired of not being able to catch the culprit. To get rid of the Noise completely, the Players will have to address this little problem. But anyone who helps will be rewarded with a weapon... apparently, some strings have been pulled in that regard. Could the higher-ups be planning something?]

Tragic irony? A sense of mystery? Perhaps the tension of the approach towards the climax? I'm not entirely sure myself; there's too much I don't know.

Nyx, for example...does he have another form?

He told me a story of his past
Both good and bad that could not last.
But on the details I am confused
Though admitting that leaves my ego bruised.

Let's be fair; his world has lore all on its own, lore which apparently includes gods and physical manifestations of the immaterial. I can't imagine those kinds of details being easy to absorb.

Might I ask which details are so boggling?

In a short statement, a mere breath
He told me science could incarnate death.

...Death is one of the many things that science can create. It's become infamous for that alone.

...He is to bring death, then. Why this world, specifically?

Perhaps this world is the one
Where the scientific deed was done.
Or perhaps it he lives, this week
While a Reaper's body caused the power to leak.
