Reaped Rewards: Fiery Spirit, Spirited Fire, Rare Metal
Mission Rewards: 500 yen

[Scanning the area, a little girl is thinking fondly about a recent trip to Shinjuku's Fire Museum. It seems they have a red helicopter on a floor of the building...]

[.... But how can you get it to fly? The controls are locked, so you'll have to find another way.]

[There's a young girl inside reading comics. However, she tends to look up whenever she sees someone enter - especially if they have pins visible. Maybe she is looking for something?]

[Zecora, after assessing the situation carefully, has gone out to look for a Reaper to challenge. She stands outside the building, scanning the area carefully for anyone with wings.]

[Ichigo is on Harrier duty, today. No walls. Strictly forbidden for him; that Kunio guy had told him as much. If he did well today, he could just do walls tomorrow.

Ichigo really hates that the guy has his life in his hands.

So this Reaper is sitting on top of one of the many streetlamps, wings out and tail wrapped around it for stability]

[Spotting him, she lifts her head, and her voice, to address him. Surely only someone involved in this somehow would be up there!]

Excuse me! Are you in the Game?
Or is Reaping your claim to fame?

[Ichigo blinks down.

Is that...

.....

]

.... Are you a talking zebra. A rhyming talking zebra.

[Today, Ichigo is forbidden from walls. He was told as much. Fine. He had to summon Noise today? Fine.

But they'd have to find him if they wanted some of those Rare Metal pins. Ichigo had been told they would be important for their mission today.

Ichigo is atop one of the many streetlights outside of the museum, tail wrapped tightly around the post and talons gripping it for maximum stability. He runs his fingers along the smooth surface of one of his Pins as he watches the people mill around below]

[Okay this hint, Sasuke has no idea what it could mean. He's staring at his Player Pin as he leans against a wall. It didn't work on Noise, so what could it be for? It's not just for show is it?]

[Nope. If Sasuke continues to stare at it, he'll begin to hear a cacophony of voices, chattering to no one in particular. It's so noisy that nothing can be made out yet, but some of them sound closer than others. This kid, for example.]

[He's well aware of the rise in noise and the one that sounds the loudest]

Well, well. Maybe this pin does something after all.

[Sasuke activates his pin and takes a look at the kid.]

[The girl is playing with a digital camera. Her thoughts become clear.]

( I still can't believe the Fire Museum by the Yotsuya-sanchome train station was actually interesting. Never knew they used stuff other than the trucks to fight fires... I even got to dress up and pretend to be a pilot!

... this picture in the outfit is a little embarrassing though... I guess it'll be my secret. )

I'd thank you for that scoop, but it'd just be a waste of breath on your ears.

[A mind reading pin for the people not playing the game, huh. Eavesdropping for information just got a whole lot easier. Possible location and solution found. He tacks the pin to his headband for easy access in the future. If the copter is at the museum, then there's probably not going to be any real flying. Which means the "pilot"...]

Ah, but does that mean I have to play dress-up to finish this mission? I don't think Miss Zebra's gonna be able to.

[The things he does for a mission... Just like back home, only with higher stakes.]

"Fly the copter?" Rhyme spoke incredulously as she stared at the screen. "A helicopter....but...how to make it fly? And which one?" Maybe the area around the place had a good place to start. Scanning, she noticed the girl talking about a helicopter in the Fire Museum. "Hey." she said, turning to her partner. "We need to find the Fire Museum. There's a helicopter there. I doubt the controls are open, though. We'll need to find another way."

Luckily, Rhyme had picked up on the particulars of scanning, the ability to pick out distinct voices and hear them. Whenever Grovyle tried, he just got a bunch of noise from all directions. He got a bunch of Noise, as well, incidentally.

His partner's comments had him thinking, however. "A helicopter that can't be piloted, and a mission to get it to fly. Do you think something like a fan could do it...? Or maybe some wind-like pin?" Grovyle stands from his previous position quickly, however; he didn't like waiting, and wasn't happy with the idea of being erased just because he didn't know his way out of a situation.

"That would make sense....but we have nothing like that. So...we should find a way to get that too. Do you want to find the museum first or the pin? We have enough time for both." she explained, looking at the timer on her hand. "Just not a lot of time to sit around and think. You're better at fighting than I am, though. Just to get that out there."

The time was rather generous, compared to the previous day's mission; it made sense that it would be a more intricate task. "Let's find a way to the museum first, and figure out from there." Of course, there were walls around that area, but... getting there wasn't really the issue, so much as figuring out how to perform the task.

"Okay...." she said, looking around. "I really have no idea where it is, though." She went towards the sidewalk, looking for maybe a bus map or something, as if that would help. After finding one, she sighed. "We need to find directions. This map isn't helpful."

[It was a bit ironic; being unseen by those in the Realground was a relief he wished he had when he was hunting down the Time Gears, before his death. Now, it simply served as a bitter reminder that he was dead, and that even should he come back, he had failed in his life's biggest mission. No more, though, Grovyle swore. He would win the Game, and then... he would have the option to choose. This world certainly didn't seem to be paralyzed, perhaps he would stay here.

Grovyle had gotten the hang of battling Noise by this point, and he trusted Rhyme's intuition; there was no doubts that this was where they needed to be in order to finish the mission. At the same time, she was right about something else - the controls to the helicopter are locked tight, with no sign of releasing them. In addition, finding this out meant that he was seperated from his partner, leaving him with very little in the way of leads OR backup.

No sense in wasting time, the Pokémon mused to himself, I won't find her if I don't search. And with that, he set off looking for the small human girl... it was strange, thinking of her as his "partner" after what went on in his life, but it also felt somewhat right in at the same time. It was reassuring, but at the same time it didn't help to think that he was alone, possibly easy prey for any reapers that might come by.]

[Possibly? How about definitely!

Taking notice of the strange creature all alone, a Reaper wastes no time getting in his path.]

Hmm, a little lizard lost something. Is this what you're looking for?

[Her cold voice denotes no sympathy, of course. If that wasn't enough of a danger indicator, though, these two wolf noise coming after him should do the trick.]

[Thankfully, Grovyle was far more used to this than the cordial, almost hesitant reaction he got from Ichigo the day before; living in a world where pokémon would sooner attack you than not, he'd trained himself to be ready for combat at a moment's notice. Instantly his pins once more drop into his hand, the now-familiar sensation of the Masamune pin fueling his attack.

A full combo worth of leaf-slashes isn't enough to take down one of the noise, though, and he tucks into a roll to try to avoid the twin wolves while his sole means of attack recharges. It's not entirely successful, the 'mon taking a few scratches in the interim.]

What if it was? Would you take your toys and go home if you found out I actually wanted them?

[It's a bit of a baseless taunt, but for some reason, it felt unnatural to him to allow a reaper the last laugh.]

[She flits around observantly, but she doesn't laugh.]

Nah! Mama always taught me to share. I've got plenty more of these, if you really like them.

[There's nothing to suggest she's joking, but thankfully she doesn't summon any more yet - as long as he takes them out before she does, he should be able to escape.]

[There's walls on all directions leading to Yotsuya-sanchome station. The Reapers guarding them appear to be the stoic type.]

[That color... as if Sasuke needed another half-remembered reminder for why he needs to win this game. And having the camouflage bag too? Now, you're just being mean.]
