[Things appear to have settled down from the previous days. No more gallivanting ex-GMs, no more strange displays of brainwashing or secret tunnels. Everything is, supposedly, back to order. And yet, judging by the mission, not all is right. Whatever it is, it's up to the Players to fix it. Why not look around and see what this severed thing is? The answer may not be too surprising, to those paying attention.]

[Nopony would ever expect it to happen, not to miss "if you smile, the sadness won't eat at you", but...

Well, Pinkie is down in the dumps. This place is like a twisted mockery of where she was born, she ended up eating meat (ugh, the puking after that was not fun), and she hasn't gotten any business from the local passerby for days. Heck, she doesn't even have anything ready - the cart is closed up for the moment, as she simply is Not In The Mood.

She's probably drawing a rather noticable amount of Noise her way.]

[In the UG, a zebra has barreled into the midst of the crowd with a Velocity Attack.]

[The sprogs and frogs scatter after the first Velocity Attack, then proceed to focus and swarm over the zebra.

Hopefully she has a few uses of the pin left, or enough of her Creepy Weepy Barrier to defend herself.]

[Creepy Weepy Barrier indeed, which flickers up just as they come charging in. Zecora darts around to get the most use out of it, and as soon as it fades, flings a bench through their midst.]

[WELL. That was unusual. Zecora manages to squash the rest of the noise unceremoniously... whereas Pinkie gets to see a bench just... disappear as it's forcibly yanked into the UG. That was... interesting.]

[It's not like anyone has ever explained what happens to those telekinetically-launched items! Including canon! Besides, Pinkie ought to be used to odd stuff. It doesn't matter -- Zecora is angry, and she'll see the earth pony Noise-free!]

[The noise is gone, and with that, Zecora a chance to get a clear look into the pink pony's mind, recently freed.]

Man... what is up with this week? First I end up in some weird human version of Klopozsvár, and now benches are just disappearing willy-nilly.

Maybe the time-travel did have noticable side-effects. I wonder if this thing is my fault...

[The last thing Zecora can possibly understand... is Pinkie Pie's mind. Still, there's one thing Zecora knows to be central to the pony's mindset, so with a tap of the Player Pin, she musters up the psychic nerve to imprint 'smile'.]

...smile? Yeah... yeah, I need to remember that! I may not be at the orphanage, but all these people who ended up here with me, the ones at Shine Junction, they need to keep their heads up, too!

And the only pony that can make that happen is me. Let's DO this.

[Filled with newfound determination, Pinkie grabs her cart and trots off. She had a lot of work to do, and the first step was getting more supplies.]
