WEEK 2 DAY 7: MISSION

Mission: Pray for your survival. Riches await those who perform the Twelfth Labor of Heracles.
Time Limit: Very Long
Noise Plane: Solo
Wall Instructions: None. All reapers are to be on harrier duty. The ban on attacking players directly is still in place.
Wall Rewards: (If anyone puts one up anyway: 5 leu)
Reaped Rewards: Blast Warning
Mission Rewards: Lazy Bomber

[There seems to be a new reaper stalking through the streets of Cluj-Napoca, a familiar sight to a few eavesdroppers in town. The teenager looks no older than fourteen years old, his head covered in bandages. He doesn't seem to be getting winded as he parkours across the rooftops, slipping the streets and alleys of town when he can't, showing a swiftness fitting that wiry frame. Oddly, he doesn't seem to be attacking Players, despite the command that all reapers should harry...

Looks like the GM is cocky once again - there is no direct warning of erasure at the end of this Mission mail. In addition, reapers are still instructed to not attack players directly. You could probably clear the day without completing the mission, as long as you survived... but completing the mission would certainly get you significant recognition at the end of the Game.]

[[OOC note: At its basic, this is a repeat of last week's Day 7: Survive to win. You can also try to take down the GM, or fulfill the secondary mission conditions. Anyone who completes the second 'task' stated will get a Blue Blood Burns Blue in addition to the posted mission reward.]]

There wasn't a Game here when we got here. Otherwise, the Reapers of this city's Game would have converged on us. And yet, we were free to take over this city's UG.

Every city has a Game. So it isn't a simple matter of being taken from one city to another. It's more that we've been taken to a parallel world.

[.................]

What.
leggierissimo: (If he was naked that was me.)

[personal profile] leggierissimo 2012-12-11 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
[Well. Doesn't that just fit in with the week's theme.]

Are you planning on rising in the ranks of the Reapers, then?
cruel_kindness: (Disappointed)

[personal profile] cruel_kindness 2012-12-11 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
If it helps us, yes.
leggierissimo: (I'm sexting at the dinner table.)

[personal profile] leggierissimo 2012-12-11 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
I thought that might be your reaction.

Obviously we were in our own world while we were in Shinjuku. Or at least one very close next door to ours. But in jumping here, it seems we've skipped all the way to a different world entirely.
leggierissimo: (Congrats; you have a type!)

[personal profile] leggierissimo 2012-12-11 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I wish you the best of luck, then~ It won't be easy.
cruel_kindness: (Proud)

[personal profile] cruel_kindness 2012-12-11 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
Heh. Life isn't bucking easy, but it's worth fighting for.
needsmorezippers: (Neku [Wait what?!])

[personal profile] needsmorezippers 2012-12-11 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
How is that even possible?!
leggierissimo: (You get free flipflops.)

[personal profile] leggierissimo 2012-12-11 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
You're hardly the only one here that thinks that. Maybe you'll find a kindred spirit or two.
leggierissimo: (Only three of us have hospital bracelets)

[personal profile] leggierissimo 2012-12-11 12:48 am (UTC)(link)
Well, even the Composer is incapable of freely traveling from dimension to dimension. It isn't quite like shifting from the UG to the RG. So, it has to be someone even higher than that.
needsmorezippers: (Neku [Ugh])

[personal profile] needsmorezippers 2012-12-11 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
Higher? Like...?
cruel_kindness: (Smug)

[personal profile] cruel_kindness 2012-12-11 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
['Cruel smirks.]

Somepony like Kreutzer?
leggierissimo: (You get free flipflops.)

[personal profile] leggierissimo 2012-12-11 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
Angels.
leggierissimo: (Only three of us have hospital bracelets)

[personal profile] leggierissimo 2012-12-11 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, you're good at this.
needsmorezippers: (Neku [Head down])

[personal profile] needsmorezippers 2012-12-11 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
Please tell me you're kidding. [Because that doesn't sound good.]
cruel_kindness: (Smirk)

[personal profile] cruel_kindness 2012-12-11 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
[Fluttercruel thwips her tail against Joshua's nose as some small teasing.]

Come back when you get on our level.
leggierissimo: (How did this become my life?)

[personal profile] leggierissimo 2012-12-11 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
Angels are the only beings capable of pulling multiple souls from one world to another. It's the only thing that makes sense. [You're right, Neku. It probably isn't good.]

[Harrier duty? That's right up Asakura's alley. He's perched on a rooftop, looking for likely targets--and he's got a bit of help in that regard. He's set one of his Mirror Monsters, Venosnaker, out to drive Players to him. It's more fun that way.

If you're a Player, you might notice a flicker of sorts in any reflective surfaces in your area. A flash of purple, as though there's something following you in the reflective surface of that window or car door...if you're lucky enough, you'll spot the giant purple cobra before it lunges out at you.

But don't worry--it's not going to attack you directly. It just wants to herd you towards its boss with the power of intimidation that comes from being a giant purple cobra flinging itself out of any reflective surface in the area.]
needsmorezippers: (Neku [Ugh])

[personal profile] needsmorezippers 2012-12-11 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
Why would they want to? [Seriously. He would like some answers eventually.]
leggierissimo: (Made out with a random kid at a frat.)

[personal profile] leggierissimo 2012-12-11 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
That's where I'm stuck, unfortunately.
needsmorezippers: (Neku [Head down])

[personal profile] needsmorezippers 2012-12-11 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Great... [this is so stupid.]
leggierissimo: (Just horrified a large group of people.)

[personal profile] leggierissimo 2012-12-11 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
[All it gets as a reaction is a slight raising of one eyebrow.]

Well. I didn't realize I was so outclassed.
leggierissimo: (I am never going to a pirate bar again.)

[personal profile] leggierissimo 2012-12-11 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
A difficult challenge, that's for sure. Assuming my theory is correct, anyway. We need to find as much information as we can.
cruel_kindness: (Condescending)

[personal profile] cruel_kindness 2012-12-11 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
Now you know. Gonna do something about it?
suicidoll: (Kreutzer-flight)

[personal profile] suicidoll 2012-12-11 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
(To be honest? Kreutzer really didn't mind the whole "don't attack players directly" thing today. She was pretty confident she'd kill any of them if they engaged her directly, but that's a thought not best considered.

And surprisingly enough? Kreutz is actually on good behavior today; no freaking out like she did last week and the only time she sort of played hooky was on day 5. She's still rather laid-back, but certainly not haphazardly throwing noise and drinking tea. No, she's keeping the players on their toes, particularly regarding the mission. She'd love to see the GM in action, but otherwise? She's being a good reaper. As in doing her job and not giving players an easy pass. She's keeping an eye on things from above, swooping down once something catches her interest.
