WEEK 2 DAY 7: MISSION

Mission: Pray for your survival. Riches await those who perform the Twelfth Labor of Heracles.
Time Limit: Very Long
Noise Plane: Solo
Wall Instructions: None. All reapers are to be on harrier duty. The ban on attacking players directly is still in place.
Wall Rewards: (If anyone puts one up anyway: 5 leu)
Reaped Rewards: Blast Warning
Mission Rewards: Lazy Bomber

[There seems to be a new reaper stalking through the streets of Cluj-Napoca, a familiar sight to a few eavesdroppers in town. The teenager looks no older than fourteen years old, his head covered in bandages. He doesn't seem to be getting winded as he parkours across the rooftops, slipping the streets and alleys of town when he can't, showing a swiftness fitting that wiry frame. Oddly, he doesn't seem to be attacking Players, despite the command that all reapers should harry...

Looks like the GM is cocky once again - there is no direct warning of erasure at the end of this Mission mail. In addition, reapers are still instructed to not attack players directly. You could probably clear the day without completing the mission, as long as you survived... but completing the mission would certainly get you significant recognition at the end of the Game.]

[[OOC note: At its basic, this is a repeat of last week's Day 7: Survive to win. You can also try to take down the GM, or fulfill the secondary mission conditions. Anyone who completes the second 'task' stated will get a Blue Blood Burns Blue in addition to the posted mission reward.]]

[Well, this is awkward. Ryoji's really just... standing here. It's the end of another week, which means he has to be a Harrier. Problem is, he's not allowed to attack Players directly this week, and... he hasn't actually used a Noise pin before.

He's playing with the ones he has now, flipping them over in his hand, biting his lip. If anyone comes by, they'll likely have an easy fight against him.]

[Joshua isn't sure about everyone else, but he's rather enjoying this Greek twist on things.

It isn't hard for him to figure out exactly what's meant by the day's mission mail. Especially not once he catches sight of the boy navigating the city like it's his own, leaping and dodging and sliding. It also doesn't take much more than a passing glance for him to realize that this is the Reaper that Neku and Ichigo had spoken with the day before yesterday. A shame he can't get close enough to snag him for a little talk - and judging by the mission, he won't be stopping any time soon. Oh well, he'd have to take his chance as he gets it.

First a hydra, now Cerberus. What next, Charybdis? Orthrus?

Despite the mission calling all Reapers out on harrier duty - though still forbidding direct attacks - Joshua is currently paying no mind to it. Instead, he's seated on the edge of a rooftop, watching the streets below and keeping his eye on that Reaper in bandages, as much as he can while he's running all over the playing area.]

[Zecora, who of course fears no Harrier, also isn't in a hurry to track down the GM. The zebra believes that a versatile Pin deck is vital to her current survival in the game -- and that victory today will not bring a return to life.]

The Twelfth Labor of Marecles through which she slogged
Was to bring back a giant, three-headed dog.
Could humans have a similar tale
Similar in this detail?

[If this keeps up, Neku's going to need to pick up a history book. Or actually listen to Joshua when he talks... the book sounds more appealing.

He is acting as a Harrier... sort of. If you cross his path, he'll throw some Noise at you, anyway. But he's more keeping an eye on the GM. "Do or die" time, right? He might be able to get away without that like the last GM, but it's possible he has the other end goal in mind...]

[Fluttershy understandably didn't want to attack anyone. After much convincing, Fluttercruel will be the one to attack them. So instead of vibrant yellows and pinks fluttering about and searching for players, 'Cruel's there.]

[Grovyle doesn't ask questions about how the higher-ups run their game, but... well, he's earned more than his share as a harrier and wall reaper the past week, to say nothing of keeping Kreutzer from killing anybody and the "special assignment" on day 5. For once, he's actually taking a page from Kreutzer's book and... just not caring, today. Or rather, he's "technically" harrying, but later in the day one might see him searching through the town.]

[Harrier duty? That's right up Asakura's alley. He's perched on a rooftop, looking for likely targets--and he's got a bit of help in that regard. He's set one of his Mirror Monsters, Venosnaker, out to drive Players to him. It's more fun that way.

If you're a Player, you might notice a flicker of sorts in any reflective surfaces in your area. A flash of purple, as though there's something following you in the reflective surface of that window or car door...if you're lucky enough, you'll spot the giant purple cobra before it lunges out at you.

But don't worry--it's not going to attack you directly. It just wants to herd you towards its boss with the power of intimidation that comes from being a giant purple cobra flinging itself out of any reflective surface in the area.]

(To be honest? Kreutzer really didn't mind the whole "don't attack players directly" thing today. She was pretty confident she'd kill any of them if they engaged her directly, but that's a thought not best considered.

And surprisingly enough? Kreutz is actually on good behavior today; no freaking out like she did last week and the only time she sort of played hooky was on day 5. She's still rather laid-back, but certainly not haphazardly throwing noise and drinking tea. No, she's keeping the players on their toes, particularly regarding the mission. She'd love to see the GM in action, but otherwise? She's being a good reaper. As in doing her job and not giving players an easy pass. She's keeping an eye on things from above, swooping down once something catches her interest.

(Yeah, Django's familiar with mythology and the trials of Heracles. He's also familiar with Cerberus and how dangerous of a creature it is. Thankfully he never had to fight it, but with things as they were? It was a definite possibility. Shut up his world is weird and let's pretend the tales were told

Just surviving would be easy; he's incredibly hard to kill. The problem is figuring out just what would be needed to complete this extra goal. However difficult, Django is determined to do it. He can't help it; half of his life is completing sidequests.
)

Bring Cerberus here? Well if we're dead, then he should be here somewhere...is it a Noise to be defeated? (He shakes his head.
It can't be that simple. Since when is it ever that simple?

Then again, there was that Reaper who seems to be running around and not attacking the players. Could there be a connection...?
)

If it'll help me go back home...I'll figure out what it is and complete it.

[Later into the mission, it appears that Rei has stopped running around town. Those that have been keeping an eye on him may notice him slipping into a social bar that may or may not be familiar to those who have been wandering around the city for the past week.

A social bar with a Reaper Decal on it.]
