Time Limit: Medium
Noise Plane: Duet
Wall Instructions: Key walls around the Naganaki Shrine. Condition must be a Pact. Seal off the dorm and school.
Wall Rewards: Chaos
Reaped Rewards: One Stroke, Vast Wealth
Mission Rewards: 1000 yen

[It's a slightly different mission than the standard "go here" you get on the first day, although that's still basically what it amounts to. There's a shrine not far from the train station, and it has a Donation Box ...

However, the task is more difficult than what may have been anticipated by veterans of the game, for as soon as the mission mail appears and the timer appears on the Players' hands, the stray noise in the area begin to attack any Players without a pact... better hope you're not alone.]

[Something was different today. Something... Ichigo couldn't quite put his talon on what, though. Either way, the Noise were very active, swarming around their new locale like angry ants.

But that wasn't important, right now. Ichigo has a new mission and he intends to complete it. But for points sake, he's set up a wall. But is he just camped in front of it? No. He comes back and checks on it every few minutes, but for the most part he's looking around the general area of the shrine.

What better place to look for a "Godlike" figure?

But fear not; there's a note near the wall.

"If I'm not here, call me.
Condition to pass is 10 yen.

and scribbled under it is his phone number]

[staring at this sign in bemusement]

... Is this a toll road?

[No such thing as "UG Only" paper, sadly. Ichigo comes back to see that crazy old lader RGer looking at his sign. He pops back into the RG and gives a wave]

Ah, hey! Foster-san!

[battymadam]

[fuck the police, she's just gonna toe past the sign--

whoops! She turns around now that she's on the other side of the wall.]

Oh my, Ichigo! Fancy seeing you here!

He gives her a wave]

Yeah. Small world, huh? Ahh.... don't worry about the note. It was just a suggestion. There's a shrine up ahead and it's customary to put a little money down for good luck.

It is certainly small! If I didn't know better, I'd think you or several people were following me!

So, a local shrine, huh? That sounds fascinating! No wonder I came here.

[...She still thinks she's on vacation]

I guess you could say that... Say uh... do you remember a Christmas Village?

Well sure I do, dearie! It was the last stop on my Foster World Tour!! ... Though as usual, I have no idea where it really was!

Well, I think it was a different world. Which is a little weird to think about, but... what other explanation is there?

[Oh thank god. There's someone, or well, a note from someone, that Ryoji should still be able to see. Seems like he's out looking for answers, just like Ryoji. He'll be waiting around by the sign, hopeful that they can at least exchange information.]

[It takes Ichigo the better part of half an hour to get back. No information... nothing about the Composer. He's happy to see Ryoji, though. But something is... weird. Where are his wings?

He stays in the UG and he waves to Ryoji, to see if there's a response.]

[No reaction. Ryoji just continues to look around, his eyes drifting over where Ichigo is standing without a pause.

...That may be one of the reasons why he looks so worried.]

[Shit. Even in the RG, Reapers can usually at least sense those in the UG. Ichigo frowns, then moves behind Ryoji before returning to the RG. He taps Ryoji on the shoulder]

Hey. You're alive again, huh?

[notsogrimreaper]

Ah! I-Ichigo-kun! You...

[He was going to ask where he came from, but he corrects himself. It's taking a while to get used to not seeing everyone. He sighs and gives the Reaper a weak smile.]

Yeah. Yeah, I'm alive.

[tamedhollow]

Sorry! I didn't mean to spook you. [he puts his hands in his pockets. It's pretty obvious that Ryoji isn't his... normal self.] Well, that's good, right?

[notsogrimreaper]

No... Not really.

[Even before all of this, Ryoji hadn't wanted to come back to life, just because of what he had done last time. And now, it may be happening all over again.]

[Ichigo's mouth is set in a hard line, and he places his hands carefully on Ryoji's shoulders]

... Ryoji. What's the matter?

(Sup, Ichigo. Any chance you remember this girl waaaaaaaaaay back from week 1? That crazy one? Yeah, here she is again. Except much more sane solemn. And wingless. And walking around as if she can't see a damn thing. Spoilers: she can't.

So once she eventually rests her hand on the wall after feeling her way around the area, the shock from the touch makes her draw it back. So that's what it felt like...nope; not pleasant at all. Completely unaware of the note, Kreutzer simply wait for a Reaper to give further instruction.)

[Oh yes, he remembers you. You blew up an entire city block for no goddamn reason like some sort of idiot. Ichigo actually just... watches her from a tree for a moment. No wings, stumbling around like she can't see... Very suspicious.

He jumps down to address her]

Well if it isn't that chick who thought blowing stuff up would be fun. Demoted?

(She had a mental relapse. That's her story and she's sticking to it.

Not like that makes it excusable; even the Conductor still flaunts that in her face and would expect anyone else to do the same. Especially the guy who kicked her ass when it happened.)

Not for that incident, but yes. This is because of something else that happened last week.

[uh sure. Whatever. We'll go with that.

But you deserved that ass kicking]

... Right. I heard about that, too. A bunch of RGers got killed because of you. But I'm not going to laugh. You're blind, aren't you? [he waves a hand in front of her face] That's enough punishment.

That's just my entry fee. The reason I haven't been erased is since they attacked me first, spouting nonsense about raid bosses and monsters.

(Guess who's not familiar with video games. And awkwardly shuffling a bit.)

...Though I should thank you for stopping me during that first incident.

... Yeah. That world was literally an RPG. A role playing game. They all came back to life, which is why I'm not really upset. But you can't pull shit like that again. Ever.

Anyway. Wall conditions. Do you have money on you?

I see...still, if the supposed glitch is fixed, then there won't be an encore.

(She reaches into her pocket and takes out several money pins of varying value, but nothing beyond 1,000 yen.) I'm not quite sure how much I have, however...

[Ichigo takes the yen pins out of her hand]

Open both your hands.

[he places most of her pins back into her left hand, then places a 50 yen pin in her right hand] Your right hand has a 50 yen pin in it. You'll need it to complete today's mission. You'll also need a partner to get through the next wall, so get to finding someone. Wall clear.
