Noise Plane: Duet
Wall Instructions: Key walls around the Naganaki Shrine. Condition must be a Pact. Seal off the dorm and school.
Wall Rewards: Chaos
Reaped Rewards: One Stroke, Vast Wealth
Mission Rewards: 1000 yen

[It's a slightly different mission than the standard "go here" you get on the first day, although that's still basically what it amounts to. There's a shrine not far from the train station, and it has a Donation Box ...

However, the task is more difficult than what may have been anticipated by veterans of the game, for as soon as the mission mail appears and the timer appears on the Players' hands, the stray noise in the area begin to attack any Players without a pact... better hope you're not alone.]

You want them to be happy, yet care nothing for how sad they would be if you died?

I-It's happened before, they won't remember! How can they be sad if they don't remember me?

You think memory has value? In one moment I could take all your memories of them away. Would they stop being your friends?

That's not the same. If they didn't remember me, they wouldn't even know there was anyone to miss when I died.

And if you did not remember them, you would not care how they felt. Then you could die without any care for the consequence.

So... what are you suggesting? I don't want my memories taken. I can die without losing them.

Won't they still remember me if my memories are gone? Either way I cause pain for them.

Or you could choose not to die.

[Ryoji sighs, face set as he attempts to accept what will happen.]

If I tell you, and you think that I'm too dangerous, will you kill me?

You cannot be more dangerous than I am.

I am the strongest Pokémon: Mewtwo. And I am the strongest Reaper as well.

[Well, at least now Ryoji has his name, and knows a bit about him. If he's so strong, Mewtwo can kill him.]

... And I'm Thanatos. I lived in this world before... but my existence will bring about the end of the world.

[Sure, he has a nicer name than that, but he doesn't want there to be any chance of Mewtwo being sympathetic, as unlikely as that seems.]

The end of the world... for humanity. And once humanity is wiped from the world, it will be a paradise, a safe refuge for Pokémon. A place we clones do not have in this world.

It wouldn't just be the end for humans. Animals would die too... Pokemon, whatever they are, would die. There wouldn't be anything left.

If the world is ended, I don't think anything will survive... even the Players and Reapers might be destroyed.

Perfect. That is the world I seek. It will be a new utopia -- a place where I and those I create can make their own destiny. Free of humans, free of Reapers and the Game, free to pursue their own fate. A world like that is necessary!

It's not going to be a world that you can see. You'll die too. It's not a utopia at all!
