Time Limit: Medium
Noise Plane: Duet
Wall Instructions: Key walls around the Naganaki Shrine. Condition must be a Pact. Seal off the dorm and school.
Wall Rewards: Chaos
Reaped Rewards: One Stroke, Vast Wealth
Mission Rewards: 1000 yen

[It's a slightly different mission than the standard "go here" you get on the first day, although that's still basically what it amounts to. There's a shrine not far from the train station, and it has a Donation Box ...

However, the task is more difficult than what may have been anticipated by veterans of the game, for as soon as the mission mail appears and the timer appears on the Players' hands, the stray noise in the area begin to attack any Players without a pact... better hope you're not alone.]

(Django was more than ready to handle the change in location, but there was something else about this shift that bothered him entirely. It came to him the instant a student complimented his scarf. When he was outside. He couldn't find his Player Pin, either; in its place, he found his Solar Gun.

He was alive. Maybe not back home, but he was alive. And now, he was determined as all hell to figure out what happened. He began running across the town in search for answers and found himself near a familiar face.)

Ryoji? Did something happen?

[Ryoji sees Django and stops in his tracks, eyes wide.]

D-Django-kun? You're not a Player! Are you...

[Ryoji can talk about 'what' exactly happened later. He still needs time to sort it all out in his head.]

I'm an RGer. Zecora told me the Game tended to not hold its word; it was obvious with last week, but this? This confirms it.

But the real problem is I can't help anyone in the Game directly like I could before. It's still going on, isn't it?

I-It doesn't. It seems all it wants to do is make it worse.

As far as I know, it's still going on. I... I'm an RGer too.

If it's a game, then it's likely treating everything as such. Even those who aren't a part of it...or don't know they're a part of it, at least. (AKA the RGers. And not just the self-aware ones.)

Then we have to do our part to make sure the Game keeps going. If it stops, then everyone in it will get erased and we can't let that happen.

This is terrible. I-It's not a game anymore! Not with people's lives at stake!

[He's a lot more passionate about what is happening, even moreso than he usually is.]

It stopped being a game the instant people's lives became involved.

We can figure this out, Ryoji; I know we can. We just need to stay calm and work our way through this. I think the first step is get familiar with this new town and its landmarks, meaning any places of interest and any buildings with reaper decals. That way, we can keep in touch with anyone from the game there.

R-Right... We can do this.

[He blinks after a moment, suddenly realizing what he can do.]

Actually, I can handle that. I... used to live here, so I know it pretty well.

Oh...well that makes things a lot easier. Looks like you'll be leading the way this week. What can you tell me about this place?

Well, it's a fairly big city... I don't know which places will have a decal on them, but there's lots of shops in the mall, and a little shopping district, and a shrine... I went into the high school, but I didn't see any Players there.

[Ryoji stops himself, angry that he's stalling so much with a trustworthy friend.]

Listen, Django-kun, none of that really matters. There's something really dangerous that's going to happen here, and I need to do something to stop it.
