Time Limit: Medium
Noise Plane: Solo
Wall Instructions: Key wall in front of Nishi-Shinjuku. Objective to be met is appropriate dress.
Wall Rewards: Poison Chains
Reaped Rewards: Thunder Pawn
Mission Rewards: 10,000 yen



["Tocho" is a nickname that refers to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, which has two panoramic observation decks. It shouldn't be hard to get there, but what awaits when you arrive?]

[If any Reaper has been paying attention this week, they'll know that this Player is on that's in it to win it. The only yen Sasuke has on him is the reward for yesterday's mission. The rest of it was used up for that damn Grizzly Gaiden mission, and even after that, he had to work to the bone to keep the yen going. This game is a little too important to just leave it up to someone else.]

[Yesterday was a nice break, but he's pretty sure things aren't going to stay that way as he makes his way to Tocho.]

[Ichigo HAD to harry today. If he didn't, he wasn't going to survive. He wasn't going to be able to get back. And Hollows? Well. They had a hell of a survival instinct.

He looks at Sasuke from a rooftop before jumping down in front of him. The kindness is gone out of his expression. His yellow-on-black eyes are now predatory, with slitted pupils and a cold viciousness. But instinct had taken over, at least a bit.

I have to survive.]

I'm sorry about this. But I can't get Erased.

[he runs his claws over his pins and a skull-like symbol appears on the ground behind Sausuke. Three Noise crawl out of the symbol; a single Goth Metal Drake and a pair of Death Thrash Minks. The dragon-like Noise immediately charges]

[Mr. Wall Reaper doesn't look as pleasant as before. Sasuke was right. Today wouldn't be such a piece of cake. He yells in surprise as the Noise appear and one attacks.]

Hey, hey!

[Lucky for him, he has Blink Step now and barely dodges the Drake's first attack, but that doesn't mean this battle will be easy.]

Well, what a coincidence. Neither can I. But I didn't think you Reapers had to worry about that.

[Go 2 Hell is ready and waiting for him to go on the offensive.]

[Ichigo frowns and takes off, landing on one of the streetlamps so as to get out of the way of the angry Drake]

If we don't do our jobs, we get demoted to Players. Or Erased right out. We got text messages about it this morning.

[ the drake opens its mouth and unleases a plume of flame, while the minks flank to either side to attack]

... Like I said. I'm sorry.

In other words, Mr. Reaper, you only get to stay in this game if you're useful.

[He tries to keep his eyes on all three. The big guy's probably the tougher one, so he start his attack on the mink to his left, zipping past most of the fire (the part that did hit him hurt). They fewer things he has to keep track of, the better.]

Looks like I have to get serious.

... Yeah. And I'm not gonna find answers if I slack off, seems like. But you can handle this.

The drake is huge, but it doesn't move particularly quickly. It has a variety of attacks, including sweeping the ground with its tail, breathing fire, and forming brilliant red orbs of energy that explode. The minks? Well, they're more annoying than anything. The mink zips by, out of Sausuke's way, then fires off a boomerang like projectile]

Thanks for the vote of confidence.

[Truthfully, he understands where the guy is coming from, but that doesn't make the fight any less easier or welcomed. Those damn minks are really getting on his nerves as he continues his attacks and dodges. Left, right, right, left--Ouch! Damn it! Where did that boomerang come from?! Still, he has to start attacking the drake at some point if it's going to thrash around like that. Maybe he'll just hope to hit the minks while attacking the--]

[--Ah damn it! He's used up his Go 2 Hell pin already? Sasuke goes on the defensive and puts as much space between him and the Noise while the pin recharges. His Blink Step doesn't have much in it until its next recharge.]

[Ichigo doesn't really feel like watching. So with a flap of his wings, he retreats to the rooftop. To sulk? To pretend he wasn't possibly killing an innocent soul? Who knows. But he leaves Sausuke to fight the monsters.

The minks have another irritating trick up their sleeves; they whirl and turn into tornadoes, rendering them immune to psychs as well. Combined with the dragon, slow and lumbering though it was, it was really a tricky fight.

The drake snorts and follows after at its own plodding pace, and the minks hang back, flinging more boomerang projectiles Sasuke's way]

So, that's it huh? Not even bothering to stick around.

[He grits his teeth. After using up the last bit of Blink Step, Sasuke keeps on his feet and moving. The minks are behind the drake now, which only makes it harder to get to them. He takes cover behind a car and waits for his pins to recharge and for the slow drake to get closer.]

Sorry, but my speed's gonna be your downfall.

[Sasuke lunges forward, nicking the drake while moving past it and at a mink. One mink is gone. The other soon shares the same fate once it stops whirling around. Just the big guy now. Damn, he wishes he had another attack pin he could use, but he does get an opening to attack the drake's backside. Then it's back to waiting for his pin to recharge.]

[YEP. He's an asshole sometimes.

The mink looks surprised at the speed that Sasuke moves at. It keeps looking surprised even as it is Erased. It's partner doesn't seem too perturbed, and goes to attack again... only to meet the same end.

The drake lets out a roar of pain and whirls, striking at Sasuke with its tail and then snapping at him with bright, skeletal jaws]

[The Drake Noise gets a solid hit on Sasuke, causing him to yell out in pain and tumble across the ground. Sasuke stays on the ground briefly before pushing himself back up with a grunt.]

You'll see that we Tigers don't give up so easily.

[Both pins are recharged. Sasuke goes on the offensive again.]

[Tiger? You are a human. Not a tiger. And the Noise eats humans. For all of it's slowness, the drake has a ton of HP and hits hard. But at least it's alone now.

It takes in a deep breath, then unleashes a plume of flame towards Sasuke]

[That Guy would argue against that, seeing as that's their soccer team's name and all, but Sasuke would probably find himself agreeing with the Reaper if he knew his thoughts.]

[Blink Step the fire, attack, dodge, dodge, attack... Sasuke keeps up the attacks but starts to use his last Go 2 Hell lunge to create distance from the drake. His own HP is low, and he knows he still has a fight to go. His dodges improve has he starts becomes more familiar with the fighting style of the Noise.]

[Soccer, really? Well, everyone needs a hobby.

The drake, thankfully, is fairly predictable. Strong, but predictable. Every time it attacks, it takes a moment to rest. And those moments are the best opportunity for attack. But if Sasuke ever runs too far, the drake breaks his pattern to give chase. It's a juggling act. Just a little more...]

[Sasuke learns that going too far caused chase the hard way as a break to recharge ended up shorter than he liked. Luckily the drake's own pausing gets noticed, and after a few more long rounds of back and forth, Sasuke sees the drake vanish into thin air. He is panting a bit from the effort.]

Looks like this fight goes to me, Mr. Reaper.

[So it does. Ichigo jumps down, using his wings to slow his descent] You did. Took you about fifteen minutes, too. Which is good for me. Here. [he tosses a Thunder Pawn pin to him] There's a few money pins on the ground too. Don't forget them.

[shinbunshinobi]

I'm so sorry. Did you want me to be faster? You should have said so.

[He catches the pin and like hell is he going to forget those money pins. He doesn't have much in his wallet anymore after that mission.]

[tamedhollow]

No. I wanted to eat up some of your time. I did that.

[Ichigo huffs and folds his arms] Now pick up your money and scram before I waste more of your time.

[shinbunshinobi]

If that's what Mr. Reaper orders, then I'll get right to it.

[He scoops up the money pins and gets on his way.]
