WEEK 2 DAY 5: MISSION
Mission: "Free the Black Rose from the Hydra's grasp."
Time Limit: Medium
Noise Plane: Solo
Wall Instructions: Key walls around the church, other walls as you see fit. Do not use Noise as a wall clearing condition. Harriers may still attack players with Noise.
Wall Rewards: Tin Pin Thrift
Reaped Rewards: Lovely Beam
Mission Rewards: Black Rose

[Well. Nobody did erase the GM last week, did they? Even if they did, she obviously had some trick up her sleeve, as she's definitely skulking around town... in several places, even. She's obviously been demoted, as well, judging by the scowl on her face. She doesn't seem to be harrying today - another reason for the scowl, judging by how aggressive she was at the end of last week. The reapers have a strange set of instructions as well - obviously, the goal to this mission isn't combatative.
And what's with guarding the church? There's nothing of note there.]

Like Pinkie Pie, a subject of Princess Celestia.
[YOU GET RHYMES AND YOU WILL LIKE THEM.]

Askin' a reaper to cover your back is a good way to get it stabbed. If I find any info, I'll pass it down, but I'm not gonna get all buddy-buddy without reason. I'd advise you do similar.
[And with that, he turns and hurries down the passageway, glad to be out of the proverbial snake's jaws.]

So what do you guys make of all this?

Of this other game, and what it entailed.
It seems to quite strongly to relate
To this Game's end, and its Players' fate.
Furthermore, we must somehow find
A truce between our two kinds.
I know that Reapers must Erase
At least some of the Players they face.
But both Players and Reapers are what we'll need
If we want our mission to succeed.
If we instead can worth together
We'll trade dark clouds for clearer weather.

I don't... necessarily know what's normal for a Game, since this was the only one I was in. But basically, the Conductor thought everything that was wrong with Shibuya went back to people have conflicting ideas and feelings. So he issued a mission to make a certain pin popular, and then used it to imprint a single idea into everyone's mind. He... basically just made them all copies of each other, in 'unity.'
[and he'll conveniently leave Joshua out of this conversation for now.]

So that game is where such thoughts begin...

It really wasn't a solution. [...nngh how much should he say here.] Like I said... not entirely sure what was normal and what wasn't. Not to mention I don't know what was going on on the Reaper's side. But... there was a lot that was weird.

There is much you leave unsaid.
I wonder what is in your head.
Your secrets you may keep, for now.
Be warned though: If my friends are at stake, I'll get them, somehow.
[It isn't a threat, just a statement of fact.
