Noise Plane: Solo
Wall Instructions: Key walls around the church, other walls as you see fit. Do not use Noise as a wall clearing condition. Harriers may still attack players with Noise.

[Well. Nobody did erase the GM last week, did they? Even if they did, she obviously had some trick up her sleeve, as she's definitely skulking around town... in several places, even. She's obviously been demoted, as well, judging by the scowl on her face. She doesn't seem to be harrying today - another reason for the scowl, judging by how aggressive she was at the end of last week. The reapers have a strange set of instructions as well - obviously, the goal to this mission isn't combatative.

And what's with guarding the church? There's nothing of note there.]

... I've found someone willing to go through the ranks. [How's your deciphering skills, Neku?]

[Neku goes through a mental list of all the current Reapers, stopping on the only possible one.]

[You could be wrong, after all~ Not that there's much chance of it considering the current Reaper roster.]

Ichigo. Did you tell him what that would mean? [He has a home to go to, after all.]

Not exactly. He figured it out himself. Though he did say he would rather hand things over to someone willing to keep things running once we've accomplished what we need.

[Joshua is silent for a moment, looking down at his phone, considering.] Sometimes what you need to do isn't always the right thing, Neku-kun.

I know, but-- [Neku messes with his hair. He understands the mindset, he really does.] People aren't just tools, Joshua.

The only way to get out of here is to dethrone the Composer and fix things ourselves, Neku-kun. I can't do it. Mr. H isn't here to help us out anymore. What more do you suggest we do?

I don't know, ok? I just... don't want to have to lie to someone to get it to work.

...I guess. [He doesn't sound convinced, but he's not arguing anymore.]

[Neku's not even sure, really.] ...I don't really know what you did tell him, but... I guess just what it takes, and how being a GM is kind of almost a death wish... though he might not care, I guess.

[Joshua lets out a soft exhale, a smirk tugging at his lips.]

He chose this for himself, you know. I didn't even have to suggest it. Just a simple explanation of how things work spurned him into deciding he wanted to climb the ladder. If he's willing, I'm going to take advantage of it.
