[Things appear to have settled down from the previous days. No more gallivanting ex-GMs, no more strange displays of brainwashing or secret tunnels. Everything is, supposedly, back to order. And yet, judging by the mission, not all is right. Whatever it is, it's up to the Players to fix it. Why not look around and see what this severed thing is? The answer may not be too surprising, to those paying attention.]

How humbling, bearing witness to our beginnings. I suppose our true beginnings are many millennia earlier, but that's neither here nor there. I wonder, what could be stirring inside them now to trigger that fateful strain...

[No, that isn't of much help -- unless the 'severed' are 'threads of his sanity'. It can't be the birds that set him off like this. Zecora takes a quick look around to see if she can spot anything that might more fit the tune of his thoughts.]

[She tugs her hood down, revealing her smile is friendly (and her irises are blue, go figure). Also totally a zebra.]

[yeah there's...a few seconds delay because a talking zebra isn't exactly something he's used to.]

[Fluttershy's colors suddenly get less vibrant and darken. Scars appear all over her body. Her eyes become a little like a reptiles' eyes. The butterflies on her butt become a hoof grasping another hoof, as if someone's helping someone else off the ground.]

And I'm Fluttercruel. Sup?

[Well... um. That was unexpected. Ryoji blinks a few times, registering the change.]

[He's just going to go with that. Flutter- is the same in both of their names.]

[Well, then; she'll just try to imprint 'mend' on him. He certainly seems troubled enough in any case; perhaps thoughts of repair and restoration will give him some solace.]

[Fluttershy doesn't like fights. But seeing the Zebra happy over the mission, she relaxes some more.]

[He takes to it quickly enough, but it seems to deepen his melancholy into irritation instead of cheering him up at all.]

That's right, everything was finally ready to proceed before this sudden excursion into a past century. Perhaps it's only a dream...or I've gone mad. H'm.

[Walls are pretty much the most boring thing in the history of ever. Asakura's growing increasingly more irritable with his, though he's forcing himself to stick it out in the hopes that someone will try to get through. His conditions for clearing the wall should make things much more entertaining...and next time, he's sticking to being a harrier, because this sucks. This is one bored Reaper right here, ladies and gentlemen.]

Don't mind Asakura. He's just going to stop and stare in disbelief, because he's really confused. A pony with wings like the ones he's got isn't anything he'd expected to see, especially not one so utterly harmless-looking as this.]
