WEEK 3 DAY 3: MISSION

Mission: Spread holiday cheer to the town!
Time Limit: Long
Noise Plane: Solo
Wall Instructions: Neku, the Flutters, and Kreutzer are explicitly assigned to wall duty, other reapers may man key walls around town as desired. Wall-clearing requirements must involve cheering the reaper in question up somehow.
Wall Rewards: Whirlygig Juggle
Reaped Rewards: Aqua Ghost
Mission Rewards: Adamantite
Bonus Reward: Love Me Tether

[It seems this week's GM is pretty easy-going, as this is another simple mission... it seems that spirits are still somewhat down amidst the RG, to say nothing of the Reapers. Obviously, one or more of them need to be happy to clear the mission. But which ones?

Strangely, all phones will get a second mail a few minutes after the first, though it's a little different than the mission mail... it actually seems to be in a somewhat stylized script, and reads quite differently.]

While those in this Game are carrying out your mission, there is one grinch who seems to be quite intent on befouling the name of this town and perhaps all of Christmas! Perhaps if you could find it in your heart to spread a little Christmas cheer to that snakey soul, Santa might have an extra present for you!

[This... doesn't seem to be part of the mission, but is it a prank? Santa does live in town...]

[[OOC note: Just like W2D7, you get a secondary mission! It's not gonna be easy, though, and the Reaper in question definitely did NOT agree to such a thing...]]

[Look! It's Spreading Christmas Cheer Ultimate Hard Mode! He's cruising around the playing field, looking for someone to troll attack harry. The idea behind this entire mission is rather vexing, and that second message has done nothing but make him more irritated with things than usual.

Playing harrier is his thing, so at least he's not running a wall somewhere and you're spared doing whatever he might decide would make him happy.]

[Well this is perfect, there's a new girl running around the place with no idea what to do about this place. Don't mind her walking around and being all confused!]

[Oh, an RG-er. Asakura could have fun with this...or try to get enough noise to gather around the girl that a Player would show up. There's probably a bit of a chill in the area; you're now being followed around by a malevolent dead person.]

[meanwhile Fuuka can't help but notice this strange feeling she's getting. This odd feeling that she's being watched over...]

Um...is anyone there?

[Okay, being dead can be fun. That whole invisible ghost thing? That's neat. But he could only do so much being invisible and creepy, so he'll find a shadowy area and transition over to the RG.

Asakura's now casually leaning against a nearby wall in the shadows, looking...okay, "nonthreatening" isn't a thing he does well. ]

No one here but me.

[Whoa, where did you come from? She takes a couple of steps back to see if he was planning on doing anything but so far...nothing's happening just yet...]

Um...then...can I ask...exactly where are we? This place is ...rather odd.

[Hm...]

[He's still leaning against the wall trying to look nonchalant and not like a dead escaped convict. He also looks rather disdainful at the mention of where they are.]

I don't know where this is...save that it's vexing me. It's bleeding too much Christmas...

[Bah. Humbug.]

It sounds like...you don't like Christmas a lot do you? How odd, I didn't know this place celebrated that holiday here...

[He snorts.]

It vexes me.

[There's a dismissive gesture around the area.]

You can't tell? This place is practically bleeding it.

[Hey, remember hassling the zebra about how she'd survived this long? Here she is, sauntering around! Now's the time to prove she's weak and useless or whatever.]

[Since the area doesn't have as many reflective surfaces as Asakura would like, his own powers aren't an option at the moment.

Instead, have a little bit of Rhino Noise. He figures he'll see what Zecora can do.]

[No sooner does it appear, then Zecora glances its way almost casually -- at which point a nearby tree lifts from the ground and begins slapping the Noise around, courtesy of her Sexy D pin.]

[His kingdom for a conveniently-located reflective surface...Asakura scowls and tries a different approach. "Different approach" meaning he was now sending over a Shark Noise. He was also searching the area for something suitably shiny to use to bring out his own monsters...]

[zebrarhyme_everytime]

[Well, this is certainly an aggressive battle. She watches the Shark Noise carefully, taunting it to come up and attack -- and when it does surge out of the ground, a line of flame slashes across its path courtesy of Blast Warning, as Zecora dances backwards to avoid its teeth.]

[Asakura's scowling openly now because he'd love to get in there and help the Noise fight with his own two hands, but that sort of thing is frowned upon. How vexing. He's watching the Shark Noise to see what it does...and he has a couple more Noise Pins at the ready, just because he's fond of overkill like that.]

[zebrarhyme_everytime]

[Zecora seems to have this well under control -- the next surge the shark makes, she meets with the flickering protection of Creepy Weepy Barrier, which she shields herself with until her more directly-offensive Pins reboot. Sexy D isn't the best choice against this Noise, though, so once the barrier drops, she meets it with the violent slam of a Velocity Attack.]

[As useless as her potions and brews might be in the UG, she's very good with psychs.]

Useless monsters? How vexing...

[Ah, if only Asakura could bring his own monsters out to play...or better yet, get involved himself. But he had to make do with what he'd been given, and now that the Shark Noise has met with its defeat, he's decided to up the ante a bit. Since he's a brute force kind of guy, he's trying the biggest Noise he can bring out to play--the Mammoth.]

[What? Santa-san wants him to cheer up? But he's...

Ryoji just glares as he wanders past in the opposite direction, trying to control himself. He's busy looking for Santa, he doesn't have time for a fight...

Maybe he has time to fling a snowball right in Asakura's ugly face, though. Just maybe.]

[And Asakura, who hadn't been paying much attention to Ryoji, gets a faceful of snow. Completely forgetting about the last time he picked on Ryoji, he's now angrily stomping in Ryoji's direction.]

[Bring it. Ryoji stands his ground, continuing to glare with a bit of a scoff.]

I don't have time for a fight. I'm busy.

Then maybe you shouldn't have started one.

[Asakura at least manages to stop himself from attempting to deck Ryoji, because he's not interested in obtaining more healing potions should he bust up a hand again.]

I don't know what you're talking about.

[Ryoji does his best to look innocent, smirking a bit. His yellow gloves are still wet from snow.]

[Nope, not buying it.]

Don't give me that.

[He is twitching, he wants to hit Ryoji so badly...]

Maybe I did throw a snowball... I wish it would've washed your dirty face.

[Bring it, you'll just get another broken hand.]

[Oh, he's ticked off...and he knows better than to punch Ryoji. He knows. His pride can't handle another broken hand that way, but he wants to hurt someone so badly...

And that's when he starts beating his head against the nearest wall. Doesn't seem that he's too worried about potential head injuries.]
